They were great to work with, Nick Hacker made it easy to go through the building process since we have never done this before. There was a crew here damm near every day and many times it was multiple crews. This building process with Hacker construction is much better than other building options.

Wausau Homes Duluth has the expertise and patience needed to help homebuilders get through the exciting but very grueling process of building a home. This is our second home, but our first time building one. Nick and Matt knew how to explain the process and let us know where everything was at each step of the way. They offered professional opinions on current trends and best practices that they are aware of in the ever changing industry of home building. We bought a very difficult piece of land to build on, but Nick and Matt used the best teams to make sure we got the house we wanted.

Additional Comments - We love the home. They made our dream home come to fruition. It's awesome. We designed the home ourselves and submitted the design to Wausau. They were able to structurally build and engineer the home. It came out to the satisfaction of both parties. They did a good job engineering it.

We had the opportunity to build our dream home with “Wausau Homes Duluth” - “Hacker Construction”, and are currently enjoying it immensely! We would highly recommend working with them to anyone! The quality of the construction and all that went into it is beyond what we expected.

We truly enjoyed working with Nick and Matt Hacker. We appreciate everything they did for us from beginning to end, walking us through all of the different aspects of designing and then building our home. Their honesty, attention to detail, regular communication and quick responsiveness to all of our questions throughout the process is also greatly appreciated, as well as keeping us in the loop on any issues that arose. Even after the build, they continue to be responsive and assist with any questions/issues we have.

During the building process we formed a friendship with Nick and Matt and now miss having regular contact with them. They came through on all of their promises, and if this wasn’t already our forever home, we would definitely trust them to build our next one.
