Nicole was very friendly and tried to work with some of our issues. But was unable to make any changes about things. The carpet was our biggest complaint when she told us there was no choice( in the contract), but when I read deeper it said that starlight could change it. Again $2600 out of our pocket before we could move in! A shame I think..

Upon moving into our unit not only have we had a broken water heater due to improper installation, but we also had a broken dishwasher due to the same reason… we had a broken exterior light fixture due to the same reason, 4 of our door knobs have fallen off without any force, and we now have a completely broken and unrepairable microwave as well.
I would not recommend Starlight Homes to anyone. The Salesperson was nice, but as I have moved in and lived in my home for 1 month, I am finding out valuable information that was never shared during the buying process. The workmanship and quality is HORRIBLE. 1 month in I had to replace 2 door knobs. I have a huge hole in my wall in the kitchen that was addressed at walkthrough. The paint job is embarrassing. I had a crack in my toilet from the walkthrough. There is no urgency to get anything fixed. You are overpaying as they don’t give you anything or options to upgrade. There are many other neighborhoods that you should look into. The preferred lender that they use Trailblazer Mortgage should be embarrassed that Karen is the MLO. She did absolutely nothing for me. She would never answer my emails/calls. Trust me, save your money and time and look elsewhere.

Valerie was excellent and helpful throughout the closing process. It was the most uncomplicated process ever buying a house! Vince, the Construction Manager, was so attentive. We walked through the house twice before closing, and after close he still checked in 4 more times to make sure we were doing ok. This team is incredible, and I would love to have them working on my next Starlight home purchase!!

I am overall satisfied with my home, however I would absolutely not recommend Starlight to anyone. While all interactions have been friendly with starlight staff thus far, it's very apparent to me that Starlight cuts corners to save money and doesn't take the proper time to make sure the job is done correctly the first time. No new homeowner should need to have different contractors out every week to repair their home. It's undue stress and that is just unfair when it's the largest purchase most people make in their lifetime.

It's been a great experience throughout the process even after moving in. Derrye Randall and Aaron Scott have been such a great support team throughout this process. We couldn't have asked for a better first time homebuying experience. These individuals are key assets to the company and had a direct part in the excellent process we have experienced.

I am not happy with the construction of my home. I was expecting better. They used bare minimum builders grade.
I was told Starlight Homes was more complementing in terms of price. With the pricing, they should be offering better homes. They are overpriced.

Owned a starlight home previously. Poorly built this time. There was urine left in two of my toilets after I closed. Construction is poor, quality of the work is poor, the house is loud, the warranty person never stopped by. Nails left in carpet, screws left in the carpet, the shower isn’t level, light comes through my front door, the garage floor had to be apoxyed as there were stains, a hole and a in the wall above the counters.
Matthew was very good, helped us through the process, and has always been responsive.

My home had the a/c drip built inside, which caused water damage and mold and it’s been over 2 months and it’s still not fixed whenever I call/ text Brandon the warranty manager he doesn’t reply or call back then I have to call others and complain to get him to contact me back. Starlight homes messed up big time on my home and I wasn’t offered compensation for thrown away items that had mold, missed work, my electric bill costing more due to the 2 large machine they had sitting in the room for over a month, it’s been a very stressful couple of months and I tried being patient but everyone is not trying to even fix the problem I have to call and text to get people to come fix it or they don’t come back for weeks they do one little part of the repair and then don’t wanna come back unless I’m calling and asking when are they coming back to fix the rest.
Horrible experience through the entire process, lied to and tried to manipulate us through the entire process.
The sales process was amazing. Ginny went above and beyond. The HOA here is over the top WAY too strict. As a homeowner familiar with HOAs this place makes it very difficult to make you feel like you can make the home and yard your own.
