The home was built cheap, e.g. the garage door is so small, barely for a car; it does not have garage opener; the cabinet does not have handles; the bathrooms don't have bars. Overall, it is cheaply built.
I will promote them now.
Starlight met my vital objectives: walk-in shower; 2-car garage; and ranch style home (no more stairs).
I already told coworkers who are also moving here to work at my companies new location, there just weren’t any available units.
Yea, for first time homebuyer, start light makes it easier
Not sure
Starlight Homes builds shells of a house. The cabinets did not have knobs, the garage doors are not motorized, and the towel racks are not installed. This is just a small list of things that were not finished.
I had a great experience and I really enjoyed dell and Alec woodruff
Looking back at the entire process, we are amazed how efficient everything went. Myleka and Michael have been great!
Starlight Homes should not misrepresent through the pictures. I saw pictures online that have add-ons included in pictures, like cabinet knobs. I did not get it, and already signed a contract, so it was too late to change my mind. They did not clarify with me. Also, with the lender, I did not get info on both lenders. I was not happy with the sales process, but I was happy with the builder who is handling things; he is answering my questions.
Antonio was so very responsive! As soon as I started looking at Glen Crossing, he reached out to me. I was not totally sold but Antonio still talked to me and answered my questions.
Definitely 100 %. The whole process from start to finish was a very positive experience. Myleka was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable regarding the homes and property. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed immediately. I was treated with the upmost respect and she never once rushed me through my concerns even though she was very busy.
I finally got to meet my builder Austin. I was very impressed with his knowledge and genuine concern for me the homeowner. He spent a lot of time with my realtor and I going through the house room by room pointing out things and answering any questions or concerns I had. He was very thorough explaining all the appliance warranties and making sure I understood the process of the 210 home warranty. He pointed out everything from the ceiling to the floor and gave me information on every appliance with details and contacts I would need once I was closed and moved in. The list of things to do in the walkthrough were completed prior to final inspection. I have no complaints and I would highly recommend Starlight Homes.
Process was fast, easy and explanatory
They were very responsive. Any issue get resolved quickly, and in a very timely manner. Once a ticket is entered, a call from the builder comes the same day.
I am a first time homebuyer and was very nervous about the process. From start to finish they held my hand and guided me through each step. I felt very supported the entire time.
GREAT MORTGAGE INTEREST RATES
The presentation of the house was especially impressive with the addition of beautiful landscaping that gave our home great curb appeal.
I like the way they handle everything and I will recommend them to anyone who is willing to purchase a property
Starlight homes was very easy to work with. The customer service was exceptional.
Starlight Homes made sure I was satisfied with the condition of my new home, of which I am pleased and proud.
Love my new home and location
The beauty and quality of these homes are amazing!
Our final walkthrough of the home was quite disappointing. There were several issues that were either overlooked or not addressed:
1. Lack of Cleanliness: The house was not properly cleaned when we moved in, which was frustrating given the anticipation of moving into a new home.
2. Unaddressed Inspector Suggestions: Despite recommendations from our hired personal inspector, the builder did not follow through with necessary changes. This lack of attention to detail was concerning.
3. Internet Connectivity Issues: We were informed that the house was “internet ready” upstairs, but upon moving in, we discovered that this was not the case. This caused unnecessary delays and frustration.
4. Poorly Installed Backyard Door: The backyard door was not installed correctly, allowing ants to easily enter the home. This has been a continuous problem that needs fixing.
5. Mulch Problems: The mulch around the house has become a major issue, as it seems to attract a variety of bugs. This has created a less-than-ideal outdoor environment.
Overall, the experience has been underwhelming and has left us feeling dissatisfied with the final product. We expected more attention to detail and professionalism from the builder.
We were always informed of any updates and the timing of things. The builder is very knowledgeable and available whenever we have questions.
Helpful each step
It was a seamless experience. They were always trying to find the best option for me.
Perfect houses and reasonable price
I would recommend STARLIGHT HOMES to anyone I know looking to purchase a home, the area is peaceful and I cannot wait to see how the neighborhood will look once the pool/pickleball court are completed.
I have referred them to a friend. I like their service, the home is spacious, and the prices are good.
We are already referring to other friends
From day one until I received my keys, the entire process with Starlight Homes was effortlessly positive and worry‑free!
They were knowledgeable and always willing to help.
Rep was very pleasant. Not pushy. Told us about the homes and explained financing thoroughly and in a way to easily understand. Answered all our questions and showed us both floor plans.
Very attentive and the follow up is great.
I loved the ease of the process and how friendly everyone was from Richard the builder to the attorneys.
My fiancé and I were absolutely thrilled with the outcome of our home-buying journey. After three years of searching, hard work, patience, and prayer, we finally connected with the right team and found the home we had been hoping for. William and Joann made the entire process smooth and straightforward, maintaining constant communication and support every step of the way. We are beyond grateful for everything they’ve done to help make our dream a reality.
Quality materials, excellent sales people and construction manager, price of home awesome especially considering quality of materials were upgraded compared to other builders.
Professional
Everyone at Starlight Homes is really good to deal with. They help and understand you. I'm a first-time homebuyer. They went above and beyond for me.
From start to finish the process was very transparent and simple to understand. Vanessa and Alec were always ready and happy to answer any questions or help with anything they could. The lender was also very attentive and I could feel that they were working hard to get things taken care of.
This community is very calm nice n beautiful
Excellent service!
The biggest disappointment was that they planted oak trees in our very small front yards (at least 20 of them right next to sidewalks), denied it by saying oak trees were not among the three species of trees they are allowed to plant, finally admitted it after I closed on my home, then told the HOA they couldn't find appropriate trees, and now refuse to rectify the situation. These trees will destroy sidewalks and driveways, uproot power, water, and internet lines, damage roofs, gutters, and siding, dwarf our homes as they reach 65 to 75 feet tall, be major hazards during storms, and be a painful nuisance with their acorns. I love trees but this is a travesty for all homeowners in the development considering the enormous costs we will have to pay down the line unless we remove these oak trees. Shame on Starlight. I will be sure to write public reviews.
Muy buen trato y un bonito y agradable lugar
It was a pretty easy and seamless process. Salesperson and site manager have been warm and helpful.
I would def recommend starlight homes to friends and family
After agreeing to the price of the home and using a Starlight preferred vendor the closing costs came back $6,000 higher than the maximum I was told it was be. Their consolation was to give me an additional thousand towards closing costs. I should have walked away at that point. But I agreed and purchased anyways. Within the first three weeks of living there, I have run into electrical, cosmetic, and craftsmanship issues. The flooring is now coming loose in multiple areas. To offer transparency Starlight has seemed committed to fixing all of the issues under the warranty. HOWEVER, a new construction home should not have this many issues this quick- this is coming from someone who works in home building. I requested blinds be installed on the three windows that come without them. This seemed like a reasonable request considering the tens of hours lost from leaving work early, taking time off, scheduling, communicating, etc. Starlight was completely unwilling. I highly do not recommend.
Provide some assistance for maybe 30 days after closing for appliances items after closing. My client’s microwave stopped working properly within the first 30 days and it has been troublesome getting it repaired.
I have already recommended Starlight homes.
There were building issues up until today. They are not resolved. The superintendent was very receptive. The contractors did a lousy job.
