Great group of people. They were here within an hour or so of my call, and kept sending more personnel as crews finished for the day to carry stuff out and get carpet and pad out of our flooded basement. Very fast workers and pleasant too!

Steve was very informative with what they would do and when they figured it'd be done. This was a couple days after our fire and I was not fully comprehending all the info and when I asked later, answers were given as, "I already explained this or remember I told you..." usually with a disgust that I was asking. The time frame was given of 3-5 months and work was NOT getting done. It was almost 2 months after the fire before they really looked at starting the rebuild and it was taking long. The content clean out was told 1-2 weeks and took 3 & 1/2 weeks. I was told I'd be able too see what was being tossed and dispute if wanted and I didn't see what was tossed. Dumpsters were filled and hauled off. I was asked of a few items and that was all. Many important papers like titles got tossed.

Menold Construction looked over the work, and did not like what they saw. They are hesitant to take the job because they don't like going behind somebody else's shoddy work.

I thought their price to my insurance company was way too high. $18k to tear things up and dry it out. This was $3K more than the reconstruction, which I also thought was a high price. Also took much longer to complete the dry out than I expected.

I would recommend Stanley Steemer so long as they would agree to not sub out any work to the floor install company.

Area Of Satisfaction - Finished job was satisfactory S. S. person very conscientious in wanting job done to my satisfaction. Insurance Co. seemed caring and willing to work with and for me and willing to come to my aid.

They met all my needs. Everyone was very professionalism. It was a tough experience being in fire but they handled everything perfectly.
