The project intent was to increase our existing ground array output. Solarponics did a bang-up job on our original 9.12 kW DC installation back in 2015. Our property appears to be using a bit more energy than less as time progresses, so we had space on our racking structure to accommodate 3 additional 325 watt panels. All it took was a phone call with Deana del Sol to initiate & schedule the work. Within a week or so everything was contracted online and the installation crew made the trip out & took care of business. We live in a rural location where reliable service work is important and very much appreciated. So far, utilizing a local resource, Solarponics, has been the right thing to do for us and we are happy to continue supporting such a well respected company.
Yes, I would because I rarely recommend anything to anybody.
We have had Solarponics here for five years now. This last time was just an addition to the system. We bought a Tesla, so we needed to have some more power. I think it is a great system and that they did a great job.
The field crews are great but the office staff and project manager is completely inadequate.
I had to ask 3 times and reject their engineering plans to get the equipment where I asked. I had to pull county records so that they could pull a county permit. Their installation team ran over a tree, left pieces of metal all over the yard and handprints all over the ceiling and walls.
Did a good job, happy with the installation overall.
Solarponics has been very professional! They answered all my questions, gave me options to chose from, and the installation went smoothly.
I'm extremely pleased with my new solar installation! Solarponics provided a great experience from sales to installation.
Solarponics is very professional. We are very happy with them.
Lots of good to say about these folks. I'm not sure there's anything I'd change.
The whole process at Solarponics was clear and easy. They came at the scheduled time, kept the job site clean, and happy to answer any questions we had.
I have already recommend them!
Very professional from start to finish. The Solarponics team made the process effortless. Special thanks to Ron for all of his help, follow up, and coordination.
I am super happy with my install. Solarponics was a pleasure to partner with. I thought the panels might be an eye sore, but the actually look pretty cool!
Solarponics is highly professional in every aspect of the project. Great communication with office staff and our sales rep, Phil, kept us informed and apprised of the project progress all through the venture. Great follow up.
Local, knowledgeable and personable. Totally recommend them. Steve & Cathy Brody, Cambria
Very pleased with the whole experience. Once the permits were in place the work started and was finished quickly with minimal impact on our life. Highly recommend Solarponics!
In today's world of box stores and unprofessionalism, Solarponics rose way above what I would consider the national average. They are very, very professional, knowledgeable, and could solve problems that weren't ordinary.
Extremely knowledgeable, always prompt, always polite, and it was a pleasure doing business with them.
Each step in the process was perfect. Excellent staff and product. We recommend Solarponics.
I had an excellent experience with Solarponics, and have already recommended them to several of my neighbors. I would gladly work with them again, and recommend them to anyone interested in the best solar products and installation.
I already have recommended the company to others.
I've already recommended Solarponics to friends and family, top notch contractor.
The whole project went really well and we are very satisfied.
I was so impressed with the installation, estimate, and follow-up. I would highly recommend them!
Additional Comments - They were very professional. They had a lot of follow-up and guidance. They were very conscientious and did an excellent job on all three meters.
Excellent company. Wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend to friends.
Solarponics was recommended by a neighbor as being a quality installer...I did not do comparisons with other companies. apart from what I thought to be a very expensive 'product' I was/am pleased with the results..it is nice not having a monthly electric bill of several hundred dollars, but I am aware I will have an electric bill to deal with at the end of the year.
Extremely fast and efficient process. High quality workmanship. I was generating my own power in no time!
Solarponics, Inc. did everything perfect except they left a ground rod sticking out of the sidewalk. They actually left two rods sticking out but they came and repaired one and left the other one. I have had several people trip over the rod. I tripped over the rod last week coming in my home.
I would highly recommend Solarponics. The Solarponics representative, Lawson S., explained the system, our options in great detail. We are 100% satisfied are are only sad we did not have solar panels installed before.
Sales process and project design and planning went well until a glitch in installation. They had to bring in extra guys to get things right even though a planner came out in advance to evaluate everything. They made adjustments and everything went well. There was a time setting on the inverter that needed to be set, after I noticed the readings were off. Never did quite understand why the Year to Date and Annual generation amounts were not the same. Something about testing in the factory, but there is a big difference.
They did a great job, they were very neat. You can't even see it from the road.
Lead Source - A colleague at work recommended them to me.
I recommend Solarponics without qualification. Further, I can't say enough about my Sales Representative (Solar Analyst), Lawson Schaller. Lawson met with me on four or five occasions, explained things thoroughly, answered all my questions either on the spot or later after further investigation, and never tried to pressure me into a commitment. He told me what he felt I needed and, at the same time, what I didn't need. After the sale, he fully explained the set-up and made sure that it was running properly. I could not have expected more from Lawson or from Solarponics.
Talked to different solar companies, with a lot of different answers. Solarponics , Inc. gave honest answers to all questions asked with printed material that could be verified, easily to understand. The staff gave us the time to make an informed and proper purchase for our needs.
My experience was that they are a friendly, local company.
very knowledgable and no hard sell!!!
Accurate, professional advice during the process of purchase, and afterwards. Pricing, output of the system, etc., all presented accurately, if anything on the conservative side. Help available after the sale, too.
They did a great job. I am very pleased with work they did. I would highly recommend the company.
crew install did a great job, office staff was great. sale very lacking and no project manger. they really need one to be more effective. Project software to-date not complete. three calls to sale rep. I went with them on teh understanding of a solar hot water system to be included. That never happen. after contract was sign and I was told rebate would cover it all. they later came back and asked for funding of the projects.Jane is the office was great, and she is the Only reason I gave them good rating in the area where i did... she needs to be promoted to a project manager. they have a very long start up time. check your contact.
Solarponics did a great job and was completed on time!
Best experience ever with this company. They did everything as agreed on time and on budget.Saleperson,Amber, followed up and kept us in the loop. Nice clean work. Very professional. Thanks for a great experience
The service provided by Solarponics exceeded my expectations in all areas. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in solar.
The staff we worked with were very professional and friendly. The whole project went smoothly. We have not come across any problems, the system is working as it should. Thanks Solarponics!!Linda Pacheco
I was completely happy with solarponics and the fulfilled their commitments.
The job: Solarponics in Atascadero installed 18 powerful panels on our roof. Each panel has an inverter on it and the controller is installed in our house in our art studio for easy monitoring. Our review: We researched solar for about 6 months, getting detailed bids from 5 companies, 3 of which gave bids on site. (We joked that exploring solar was our new full time hobby for the year!) A close neighbor had recommended Solarponics twice to us. The Solarponics representative, Lawler, was very patient with us and met with us in person at least 3 times. He was extremely well versed in all aspects of solar and went into great detail with us each time. He also did everything in his power to meet our budget needs. The second important thing that he did for us was to encourage us to research the PG&E rate plans to figure out other ways (in addition to the solar panels) to bring down our electrical usage and costs. We worked hard at updating a few very old appliances, signing up with a different PG&E plan and changing our electrical usage patterns so that the solar installation could cover most of our usage. (We only wish that we had known about the differences in the PG&E rate plans years ago and that changing a few bad energy habits was easy and not painful!)We have an all electric house (except for propane for our stove cooktop) and I am happy to report that our bills have gone from over $260/month before solar to under $5/month with solar so far. After the installation there were a few glitches in the inside controller and Solarponics quickly sent techs out to our house to take care of the parts that needed replacement. We highly recommend this company!
We had been interested in going solar for some time but also heard horror stories about the price of systems and the problems with leased systems. Well, I finally ran into a representative fro Solarponics at the Home & Garden show and made an appointment to have someone come out. We met Andrew shortly there after and he was great. He showed us how we could actually save money on our electric bill and pay for a photovoltaic system at the same time. Before Solarponics, our average PG&E bill was over $400.00. Our first electric bill 30 days after installation was $16.95! We are sole on Solarponics!
We were very satisfied with the service and the fact that the service continues- Solarponics continues to keep in touch with us and we would highly recommend them.
Solarponics did a good job. They were the better company out there, that had the same products.
Andrew and his whole design staff did everything they said they would do and on time. They dealt with the city and fire department. They went above and beyond. They came in after work to set up so as not to disturb us during the day . They were a breeze to work with. They would get my vote to do solar again. I plan to have it done at my home and I will use Solarponics. If anyone would like a recommendation, please feel free to call me.
