The service was quick, but there was no follow through. They are quick to react and get you started, but the process and follow through in between is very poor.
They provided excellent service, they got the job done as expected, and they are professional.
Kitchen nightmare turned into dream kitchen. Crew was exceptional and very patient with us and our custom design.
They were very accommodating and friendly. They explained to me everything that was to be repaired. They responded in a timely manner, and also to an urgent request for a nail in my tire that needed to be fixed that day.
Servpro of Kailua North/Laie is very professional and friendly.
Servpros' response time was slow regarding communicating with them.
Frank Alan and Chad from the Servpro Kailua Recon Team were outstanding Very professional and quality craftsmanship. They arrived exactly when they said they would and made sure I was happy with their work. Frank the project manager stayed in touch with for smooth coordination Highly recommended.
Servpro was not very good with follow-up.
The first team that came in Matt and Billy and their crew gave exceptional work, explained the process and did exactly what they said they were going to do, and did it in the time frame that they gave us. AWESOME WORK & GUYSSecond crew I was not happy with his performance and attitude that I called the owner of the company and spoke to her directly.
SevPro only assisted with the drying of the floors and used a subcontractor for everything. I felt that you received 2 different set of answers if you were dealing with ServPro or the subcontractor. Most of the time, I felt ServPro took too long with scheduling. I rate ServPro 4 out of 5 stars but the star system did not allow me to make adjustments from the 2 that showed up.
Overall, they provided great customer service and answered all of my questions.
Claim submitted early Nov. 2010. As of today 01/20/21 work has still not been completed.
It was obvious there was no communication from the project manager to the 2 contractors who were used to complete the repairs. My instructions given to the first contractor, who did the estimate, did not pass down to the finishing contractor.
Servpro employees did not warn me that their dehumidifiers would generate high temperatures on October 13, 2020. They did not advise me to remove any heat sensitive items or my plants in our kitchen's greenhouse window. The temperature in our upstairs bathroom with a closed door and partially opened overhead bathtub window registered 180 degrees Fahrenheit, chemically compromising its contents of cosmetics, hair shampoos and conditioners, facial cleansers, body washes, colognes, medicine, etc. Visual damage of items removed from the bathroom on October 14, 2020 after 29 hours of heat exposure, 13 plus hours before Servpro's manager's inspection on October 15, 2020, included two new unopened containers of acne facial scrubs that burst at their seams, a blown off nozzle from a can of hairspray, a semi bloated new tube of toothpaste, and sticky toilet paper packaging. Visual damage in our downstair's kitchen included 2 unopened dap grout tubes that had burst at its seams, a blown off cover from a can of stainless steel cleaner with its label peeling off, a blown off nozzle from a can of oven spray, an unusable semi-transparent Crisco shortening bar, a brittle discolored cap of a Sharpie pen, two expired 20 oz. cans of Dole pineapple that burst at their pull open tab's seams, and one distressed anthurium plant that later died. Please note that the Servpro's manager did not inspect many of these damaged kitchen items since they were found after Servpro removed their equipment. Items Servpro's manager did see were bottles of honey, 2 bottles of brandy, 1 bottle of rum, containers of soy sauce, bottles of cooking sake, cooking oil, and spices that were removed from the kitchen on October 14 after being exposed to about 29 hours of heat. Most of the plants were removed after being exposed to about five hours of heat. Our bathroom's wall dried in less than two days but because a Servpro employee overloaded a circuit with three fans, two fans plugged into a third fan then plugged into one kitchen electrical outlet the kitchen's fans were not working during the first two days. Because of this tripped circuit an overhead range microwave connected to the same circuit blew its fuse and required repair and the kitchen required additional days to dry. Servpro had to leave their dehumidifier and fans operating for an additional four days, I believe, because of the weekend.A powder room's floor and baseboard were later found to have sustained water damage. Servpro's employee had failed to check the powder room, a room that shares the water damaged kitchen wall. They only checked our pantry that shares the kitchen's wall. Damage to the powder room was minimal, a section of warped vinyl flooring and a detached portion of the floor board next to the warped flooring. Please note that water damage originated from a pinhole leak from a pipe in our bathroom's wall. Water dripped to our downstairs kitchen and accumulated in a fluorescent light fixture's plastic cover, a light fixture directly under the leak. The water's weight in the cover made it unhinge on one side and dangle, dumping water on our kitchen's wall and floor. Since the main water valve was shut off within half an hour, water damage was caused by less than two gallons. Servpro does not deserve a star.
Servpro was very professional. They got the job completed real fast and did great work.
Most of the workers were very competent and efficient. The project as a whole is still undone. I still haven't gotten anyone to do my tiling. I can't use one of my bathrooms for showers. They claim that another company was supposed to do it. The insurance company said they never authorized it to be removed.
They were here on time and courteous. They started prepping for paint and didn't cover any of the furniture. We told them we were unhappy with that and they were supposed to send in a cleaning crew after the work was finished. They haven't sent anyone back. We let them know that the bathroom wasn't completed correctly. They didn't call their boss about these issues and the bathroom has 3 different tiles down. The cabinet guy did a fabulous job.
Left the ceiling open and uncovered for weeks. Person who comes by to explain the work and collect the money only works on Thursdays. From the initial inspection date to the actual work date ended up being about a month. The delays were not convenient for me. There were other problems and miscommunications among everyone involved. The staff were nice but not always forthcoming.
You have to be on top of them all the time to see when they plan to come out. I felt like I had to babysit them too much when that should have not been my job as the customer.
Billy and his crew conducted themselves with much professionalism that I would certainly refer them! They were empathetic to our situation and with patience and understanding appeased the angst that comes with flooding. Thank you Billy and Crew! Much love!
Top class. I’m extremely happy with the work performed and I highly recommend to any.
The Service from Servpro is exceptional from the time Andrew Maras came to do the estimate of the damage. The 2 tech's wish I remembered their names in setting up the Water Mitigation fans to dry all the water in the wall's and ceilings. Then Daniel as the repair tech in drywall, texture, and painting. Very professionals and respect my home, and also clean up very well. If you know drywall, the process has alot of dust. I would recommend this company, for their outstanding service of the Servpro Team in repairing my water damage to my home.Happy Home Owner: Sandy Kealoha
Very fast--they're pretty speedy in responding, and they're very professional. They explained to me what was going on in the situation.
Overall, they were unprofessional and difficult to work with. It took over 2 months to have my ceiling repaired due to no-show workers. My overall bill was priced for them to paint my whole downstairs ceiling, but they only painted half. When I called to discuss, they blamed it on their worker and sent him back to my house to finish the paint job.
They did very good work.
