I had a real catastrophe. My septic tank backed up. I called ServPro. First, they said they couldn’t get here for six days. Upon explaining my situation Gabriella put me on hold for 5 minutes; came back on the line and said a crew would be here within 2 hours. This was late on a Friday afternoon. The crew showed up at 6:00 pm and were here until 11:00 pm. I have never, ever met a more competent, professional group of people....EVER. If you are ever in need of a serious cleanup then you need to call ServPro right away. They are THE best.
John Flood's Serv-Pro (?pros?) management team leaders ASSURED me they were all done and EVERYTHING was "all set!" and, because I was busy in my home office on a conf-call, I did not need to inspect what I expected. That night my sister had to visit a close, very ill, friend at the hospital and asked me if she could bunk over at my home... I said, of course! During the night she got up to use the basement guestroom bath, only to slice open the bottom of her foot very badly, because the "SERVE PROS" failed to remove the carpeting tack strips and although as they stated "I was all set", I was really not and my sister was now required to be off her feet, not able to work on her local ambulance, not able to personally man her jewelry store requiring her to hire in temp staff/people, and was not able to put her ski boot on so she could ski patrol at her ski resort job in the Catskills. Although I was personally promised restitution from owner John Flood, to date we can't even get a return call! We're thinking he must be 'on-tour' with Phil Collins & his band, fore all we are getting is "NO REPLY AT ALL!Can someone please help?
The staff at SERVPRO responded quickly to my emergency, were on time, and were very professional. They kept me well informed and did a thorough job quickly.
