Nice people but problems did arise that were unexpected. The situation got out of hand when there were several days of drying out using an industrial dehumidifier. This machine was too much for the job as in the end, it dried paint on the door moldings in the adjacent room.
There was damage done to a credenza that was over 150 years old, a family hierloom. The workmen never said anything about it.
This company was selected by our insurance company. We did not choose them.
not good
Anytime I have had to use Rytech Restoration of the Midlands, they are quick to get out there and take care of things before they get worse. They have always been informative and a pleasure to work with.
They were quick and efficient.
Totally professional and empathetic. Subject matter experts all the way!
The timeframe took a while.
I called Rytech Restoration of the Midlands due to an emergency on a Sunday morning. They had someone responding within 30 minutes of my call and took care of the situation immediately.
technicians need more training
I’m already recommending them to people. Such a great company to work with.
Michael Sharpe was amazing to work with. He came out and answered questions sometimes after business hours. The company did an excellent job with my demo. They came out when scheduled and were super friendly.
The crew did not cover my black cabinets and now they are ruined.
Pack out and Pack Back teams were exceptionally well managed, efficient and courteous. They are the reason I am giving any stars. Otherwise, the process was a nightmare.
Tracy Miller was awesome to work with!
They were good and quick, but dropped some things on my wooden floor.
Rytech sent me a surprise bill for $155.94 for the "free" consultation, plus a fuel surcharge. Rytech charged extra for the hazmat suit, mask, and disposable gloves they wore to inspect. My insurance adjuster inspected the same space without suiting up like that. Rytech employees spent hours posing for photos all suited up, so they could pad the bill. They charge inflated prices for everything in the photos. Rytech employees were only authorized by my insurance to remove part of one water-damaged cabinet, but I turned my back for one second, and they had removed an interior door from my house! The door was not affected by water, and was not where the plastic containment barrier needed to go. Water damage experts? Rytech told me there was a dead animal in my crawlspace. It was actually a piece of water-damaged carpet. I told Rytech not to do any work beyond that one cabinet, just give me an estimate for the rest. They refused to give me an estimate, saying they only charge insurance. They kept telling me my insurance had approved the rest of the work, and I kept telling them that was wrong, and don't do any more work. A Rytech employee asked if he could have my working dryer since I was getting rid of the washing machine that matched it. I said he personally could have the dryer for free if he removed it himself. But he left the dryer in my front yard and Rytech charged me $86 for removing it from my house! Rytech left their "mitigation" equipment running at my house, because they told me my insurance had definitely approved this along with the cabinet work. When I found out later that evening that my insurance had not approved the mitigation, I asked Rytech to remove the equipment the next morning. Rytech charged $1,000 for one night of "mitigation" that actually takes days or weeks to get fully dry! Licensed/bonded/insured? Check SC LLR. Rytech is not licensed as a contractor. You will regret every interaction you have with Rytech. I know I do.
Everything went well, except when times got confused about when they were going to be here or pick up equipment.
Staff is friendly enough, but company is corrupt! No disclosure of pricing, no itemized invoice provided and when I finally get the itemized invoice, it has random charges for services not even performed! And to top it all off, instead of reaching out for payment for a simple overlook (due to the sheer number of back and forth emails trying to get correct pricing and invoicing) to have an attorney call out of the blue and threaten me with a lawsuit??!!! This company is a joke! I will never even recommend the company to my worst enemy! The company is completely unprofessional and a complete ripoff.
They are a little bit overpriced according to my insurance company, but the service was great.
They were very quick, efficient, and had good quality.
Great service, quick and knowledgable
They were excellent.
I had not heard of them before this claim. I had only heard of Servpro before. I was satisfied with the service.
They were hardworking, fast working, and got things done the right way. I am satisfied with the work done. Everybody who came was very nice too.
Prompt, quick getting job completed and cleaned up everything afterwards
They guys were very professional and informative. They were down to earth and talked me thru the entire process. I would use them again in the future.
They were really good and easy to work with.
Very professional, very organized, and they knew what they were doing.
They provide wonderful service, and it's helped us out twice. All of their employees are professional and knowledgeable.
I've worked with this company previously, and Rytech of the Midlands has done everything they could to help me and my family during this time.
I WOULD RECEMMEND HIGHLY MR. BRANDON AND MR. FELDER THEY EXPLAINED EVERY STEP THEY DID.
The workers were professional and extremely nice.
The communication had been excellent.
Experience overall was good, had one incident that was rectified timely.
They are a great company! I believe in them. They were a one-stop shop for me. The guys were very punctual and polite. The owner, Anthony, constantly follows up and keeps you in the loop. Great customer service. I would highly recommend Rytech over the other water mitigation companies in the industry. The company is great! The workers were very polite and courteous. They had manners. Everyone kept me informed from the administrator, the office secretary to call and schedule, to the follow-up, were all excellent!
Rytech was wih us thru a very stressful experience with bathroom leak in wall, under floors, etc. and subsequent discovery of asbestos, abatement, etc. All of this thru completion of drying took a long time and they did all they could to make it as easy as possible for us. During this time we met many of the technicians and supervisors. All were very professional, caring and more than competent. This was not our first experiewnce with Rytech and we were in good hands thruout.
They came in and did the job in a very professional and timely manner.
Great customer service and puts their customers first. They keep you informed of the process and someone is always following up with you. They took care of the mitigation, mold & mildew and the whole repair process in a 30 day period.
Rytech of the Midlands provides quick responses, and they are knowledgeable.
Rytech did an excellent job!
Mike and his crew were exceptional. They let us know the process the whole time and finished in a timely manner.
I didn't have much time there with them. So, I really don't know a whole lot about them.
They are very thorough and all the individuals were personable. There were no issues.
I found them to be very professional and personable. They came whenever it was convenient for me and them. They were very polite and did a good job!
They did a great job and were very professional!
They are attentive, communicative, they explain what has to happen, and they pay attention to what you say and what your needs are. They always give you updates, so you are never guessing what they are doing at your house.
They were on time, clean, and everyone was friendly!
They kept in contact with me and let me know what was going on. They were very efficient.
They were great! They came when they said and got things done. I'm very satisfied!
Ethan Allen, Miles Martinez and their team members were wonderful throughout the entire process. Ethan and a team member showed up to our house around 10pm on a Friday to help after we had an accident with our washing machine. They were professional and patient with all our questions and concerns. The entire process took exactly a week, which was quicker than they initially thought it would be. Hand down would recommend this company to anyone in the area that may need their services!
They didn't take out or pack any furniture, I did that. They took part of the cabinets down. As far as the storage shed, they didn't do any part of that either.
