The timeframe took a while.
I called Rytech Restoration of the Midlands due to an emergency on a Sunday morning. They had someone responding within 30 minutes of my call and took care of the situation immediately.
technicians need more training
I’m already recommending them to people. Such a great company to work with.
Michael Sharpe was amazing to work with. He came out and answered questions sometimes after business hours. The company did an excellent job with my demo. They came out when scheduled and were super friendly.
The crew did not cover my black cabinets and now they are ruined.
Pack out and Pack Back teams were exceptionally well managed, efficient and courteous. They are the reason I am giving any stars. Otherwise, the process was a nightmare.
Tracy Miller was awesome to work with!
They were good and quick, but dropped some things on my wooden floor.
Rytech sent me a surprise bill for $155.94 for the "free" consultation, plus a fuel surcharge. Rytech charged extra for the hazmat suit, mask, and disposable gloves they wore to inspect. My insurance adjuster inspected the same space without suiting up like that. Rytech employees spent hours posing for photos all suited up, so they could pad the bill. They charge inflated prices for everything in the photos. Rytech employees were only authorized by my insurance to remove part of one water-damaged cabinet, but I turned my back for one second, and they had removed an interior door from my house! The door was not affected by water, and was not where the plastic containment barrier needed to go. Water damage experts? Rytech told me there was a dead animal in my crawlspace. It was actually a piece of water-damaged carpet. I told Rytech not to do any work beyond that one cabinet, just give me an estimate for the rest. They refused to give me an estimate, saying they only charge insurance. They kept telling me my insurance had approved the rest of the work, and I kept telling them that was wrong, and don't do any more work. A Rytech employee asked if he could have my working dryer since I was getting rid of the washing machine that matched it. I said he personally could have the dryer for free if he removed it himself. But he left the dryer in my front yard and Rytech charged me $86 for removing it from my house! Rytech left their "mitigation" equipment running at my house, because they told me my insurance had definitely approved this along with the cabinet work. When I found out later that evening that my insurance had not approved the mitigation, I asked Rytech to remove the equipment the next morning. Rytech charged $1,000 for one night of "mitigation" that actually takes days or weeks to get fully dry! Licensed/bonded/insured? Check SC LLR. Rytech is not licensed as a contractor. You will regret every interaction you have with Rytech. I know I do.
Everything went well, except when times got confused about when they were going to be here or pick up equipment.
Staff is friendly enough, but company is corrupt! No disclosure of pricing, no itemized invoice provided and when I finally get the itemized invoice, it has random charges for services not even performed! And to top it all off, instead of reaching out for payment for a simple overlook (due to the sheer number of back and forth emails trying to get correct pricing and invoicing) to have an attorney call out of the blue and threaten me with a lawsuit??!!! This company is a joke! I will never even recommend the company to my worst enemy! The company is completely unprofessional and a complete ripoff.
They are a little bit overpriced according to my insurance company, but the service was great.
They were very quick, efficient, and had good quality.
Great service, quick and knowledgable
They were excellent.
I had not heard of them before this claim. I had only heard of Servpro before. I was satisfied with the service.
They were hardworking, fast working, and got things done the right way. I am satisfied with the work done. Everybody who came was very nice too.
Prompt, quick getting job completed and cleaned up everything afterwards
They guys were very professional and informative. They were down to earth and talked me thru the entire process. I would use them again in the future.
They were really good and easy to work with.
Very professional, very organized, and they knew what they were doing.
They provide wonderful service, and it's helped us out twice. All of their employees are professional and knowledgeable.
I've worked with this company previously, and Rytech of the Midlands has done everything they could to help me and my family during this time.
I WOULD RECEMMEND HIGHLY MR. BRANDON AND MR. FELDER THEY EXPLAINED EVERY STEP THEY DID.
