Our salesman was wonderful. He was knowledgeable & informative. We decided to use Roof One after meeting with him.
The process of scheduling was smooth. I was concerned that the salesman said it would take two days for install but scheduler assured me they would complete the roof in one day which they did.
The day of install the foreman came to our door & explained what they were going to do & asked if we had any questions or concerns. I did have some concerns which were discussed.
The crew worked all day, finished the roof & packed up & left.
We went outside to look at the roof & realized the gutter guards had not been put back in place. I wish someone would have explained they were coming back the next day to reinstall the guards. I also wish someone would have explained that the bathroom vent fans were reconnected correctly because originally we were told someone would have to go into the attic to do this & i knew that hadn't happened. I wasn't sure if both vents on the house had been sealed as we were told would happen.
The next morning we received a call about someone coming to reinstall the gutter guards. A very nice man came & put the guards back into place & ran another magnet for cleanup. We asked about the vent fans & the table vents at that time & were told he would show us pictures of both to assure us they were done but there were no photos so he climbed into the attic & found the bathroom fans were correctly connected but only one gable vent was covered. He took care of thst issue & verified with photos.
My husband checked the gutter guards & found they were not reinstalled properly so a call was made & the next day someone came to make sure they were placed correctly.
Also we became concerned that no inspection had been done by our township. I called the township & they said they needed some paperwork from the company before they could complete the inspection. I notified Roof One & inspection was completed & roof was approved.
Then, about a month ago our gutters became plugged which has not happened since we got the guards installed. My husband had to pop some guards off & found nails & roofing material inside gutter causing it to plug up & we were told the gutters would all be flushed of material.
All in all i feel the roof is solid but with everything that happened I can not recommend this company. It makes me wonder if there were other things that were not done correctly.

Sales representative in charge of the project difficult to reach and not calling back

I wanted to leave this as a private review rather than public Google review. Replacing a roof is a HUGE expense. As such, I kind of expected better communication and maybe even some handholding throughout the experience. There were multiple times throughout the process where I had to call the office to ask what the next steps were, to ask when the expected installation date, etc.

This would have been expected communication that would warrant a referral from me.
Someone comes out to the home for estimate. I then receive a call explaining how the inspection went, if there were any red flags, clarify what was to be completed, date of installation. This did not happen. The roofing team didn’t know that I wanted the flat roof replaced later until I personally called a week later after not hearing from the team. In this phone call, the expected install date would have been discussed. This also did not happen. I called the office a few weeks later and it was then explained that there are temperature requirements for the flat roof. This is completely understandable but should have been communicated. I then reach out a few weeks later asking for an update and was scheduled for later that week. The anticipated start date, no call no show. Later that week the start was delayed again, due to rain (which is understandable but a call to inform me of delay would be courteous.

The team did an excellent job and the staff was always kind when I called, but this is the communication that I expected and what I think future customers will expect, so I wanted to share my perspective.

I actually had another roof replaced by other roofer this year on another property and they performed all the above commmunication.

I needed a new roof, Jason from Roof one came out and was very helpful. He got up and inspected and gave an estimate. I picked out my shingles. They were able to get to my roof in 2 weeks and a whole work crew came out and did a great job.

Everything went smoothly from the delivery of materials and dumpster to the tear off of old roof and installation of new to clean up to pickup of dumpster and follow up inspection.

Roof One held true to their word when it came time to finalizing the contract. On some things, they did more or better work than I anticipated. They also held true to their contract price. There were a couple of downsides but for at least one concern they immediately fixed the problem. Others I took care of myself.

We are extremely happy with our new roof and the entire experience! From the first step through the final steps the Roof One team has excelled at communicating and documenting exactly what was agreed on, what is would cost, what any additional choices would cost, and what would happen and when! We had gotten quotes from several different roofing companies and Roof One was very competitive, provided better options, were certified with the shingle companies, and provided a very professional information packet during the quote process. Turned out that this was a company we had worked with before when they were much smaller. We were pleased to find that they have not lost the traits that we liked when they were a smaller company as they grew! We highly recommended them before and we would highly recommend them now!!

Outstanding job by all. Unfortunately I noticed damaged siding quite awhile after the completion. Did not bother to contact company.

We have had four projects done by Roof One--three went very well, this last one did not.

Did a good job finished in one day, took a little time to get the final cleanup scheduled and extra supplies out of our garage but overall happy with them.
