Riverwood homes is one of the best builders with an amazing warranty team! I love everything about my home and the design studio really offers so many options to make each home our own.

If I had been in on the design from the start, I might have an opinion. But I bought the house already fully constructed, so don’t have any information to share about that.

They are easy to work with.

It is a super easy process. This is my first time buying a home. They made the whole thing super easy, for sure.

Our overall experience with Riverwood has been great. Sam Niccum worked closely with us through the whole process and made sure our needs were met. Adam did a great job as superintendent and aSamre overall happy with the way the house was completed.

We had been looking at building a Riverwood home for about 2 years before finally deciding it was time. Throughout that time period, every person that we had communicated with was kind and knowledgeable, never felt pushed to build sooner than we were ready to, which made us feel confident in our decision to move forward with building our new home with them. They truly made us feel like we mattered and it wasn’t just a sale to them. We had previously built a home with a different company about 5 years ago and the level of service we received from Riverwood far exceeded our last experience. The design studio is top notch and having so many options to choose from really made us feel like we were building a custom home, but it was never overwhelming. The price of upgrades and the home itself is priced fairly and you get excellent/better quality for less than other builders in the area. I cannot recommend Riverwood enough!

Was a good process until the end, and this could have been easily changed

There are a lot of quality issues with the home. We noticed within 30 days. There are doors and frames that have shifted and are not aligned. There are gaps between the doors and frames with holes where light, insects, and wind are coming through the doors. One of the posts is cracked, and they said they were going to change it. The front door, the back door, and the main doors are cracking where they put the screws. They did not try to change or fix it. The French door is not supported well with enough wood, and it is broken into two pieces. The door will fail soon. The lawn is a disaster in every area. It is suffering in the back, and there are a lot of holes in the soil of the lawn that are very bad. They made mistakes with the switches and outlets and left holes in the kitchen where they took them out. I want others to not suffer from the same things I did, and they can pay attention. Hopefully, when they have supervisors, Riverwood Homes will have better workers when working in the field.

We've already recommended Riverwood Homes to couple family friends. We like the idea of buying nicely done family house built by a local developer who values his employees and customer.

I was happy with the service. Jacki was so friendly. She was very patient. She answered my questions. We are very satisfied with the build quality as well. We had a few issues with the appliances. They made sure to bring in the right people to make sure they were working. We're very satisfied being associated with Riverwood Homes and working with Jacki and Dina.

There are parts where the craftsmanship looks great. Then there are parts where it looks like the builder just didn't care. There are noticeable things where any human would look at it and notice it isn't done correctly but they decided to just leave it and move on with their day instead of fixing it. I bought a new build with a builder so that I wouldn't have to be involved but, apparently, that was a poor decision because a builder can't be relied upon to actually come to the house and check to make sure good work is being done. They never put the exhaust fan on in the main bathroom. They did the main bathtub wrong. It has been a month and the fence is still not completely done and what is done has broken my outside light fixture including shorting a circuit that the kitchen lights are also on. There were fixes that the inspector recommended be fixed, that I was told were fixed, that are still not done. Just overall, I don't think anybody at any point actually came to make sure the contractors were doing the work that they said they were doing.

They are very responsive and I had no problems. We have a few things that needs to be done still, but they things they have done were done quickly.

I recommended them to my grandmother.

Riverwood has an excellent reputation as a builder in the community and as being fair and trustworthy in their dealings. I have found that to be true! I was on their waitlist for a year waiting for one of their properties after shopping with other developers in the area. They stood out head and shoulders above the others I contacted. They do not just cater to the elite and have a price point for everyone.

I had a great experience working with Riverwood Homes. I felt comfortable trusting them throughout the process, because they take pride in their work. They built me a quality home and I am very happy with it!

Overall, I like my home. Many things could have gone differently but overall I’m happy I used Riverwoods and material used were good quality.

Everyone was very easy to work with and quick to respond to any concerns we had.

This is the second time we have used Riverwood and they were nice to work with and very professional. The first house that we did had a small issue and after speaking with Sam and Mark it was taken care of. We found them to be people of their word.
