The onsite team was very professional and the installation seems to be high quality. The masonry is especially fantastic. I appreciate that they put tarps down to catch the nails, used fall protection, and cleaned everything up very well. The only reason I didn’t give 4 stars is because there was one not so pleasant interaction on the phone trying to resolve everything at the end of the project. The representative made me feel like they wanted to move on to the next job.

As architects, we were fortunate to begin working with Tony Raleigh at Renaissance Historic Exteriors several years ago on a project to restore the 1876 Lafayette Park Music Pavilion in St. Louis. His exceptional knowledge and experience in historic roof restoration has been a tremendous on-going contribution to that project.

Recently we again turned to Renaissance when repeated rainstorms caused water damage and leakage at the roof of our 150-year-old Victorian house in St. Louis. Tony Raleigh made time to help us with an emergency visit between rainstorms. He understood the serious problem we were facing with the next storm coming within hours. Tony investigated the roof condition, decided what was needed to stop the roof leak, and he personally made important temporary repairs to solve the problem. Tony’s prompt response and immediate attention to our roof far exceeded our expectations. Totally successful!

Renaissance Historic Exteriors do what they say they are going to do with little interruption in your day. They gave me a good plan, they executed on it, and there was little disruption in my day.

Our 114 year old Ludowici tile roof needs special attention, and I couldn't trust just any roofing company. After getting a good reference on Renaissance's work from a neighbor that has a 100 year old slate roof, I contracted with them to repair/replace a number of broken tiles on our roof, which they got done in a day, along with repairing the boot around a vent stack. Staff was courteous and efficient.

We sent Renaissance letters about how much we appreciated their work and how good the crew was. We started out at $118,000, and with all the problems in the roof, it ended up at $248,000. Also added in that was some stucco repair and a chimney liner, which was another $9,000, but it was a fabulous job.

Renaissance provided excellent, quality workmanship with a crew that we were happy to have working on our house for a long project! Renaissance Roofing provided an exceptional service when restoring the original glazed tile roof on our 1925 historic home. Greg Derry, Tom Bunders and Ray Kemppainen each went above and beyond to ensure that our job was scoped, priced, scheduled and executed correctly.
Greg worked with my insurance company to ensure that the correct scope was approved, Tom scheduled the project ensuring that when necessary we had up to 4 crews working simultaneously, and Ray and crew were onsite each morning at 6:45am for almost 3 months straight. These guys are incredible craftsmen, explaining each step of the project, and making sure that we were happy with the result. Each member of the Renaissance team, from Brenda in the office to each member of their crew, are incredibly professional.
We could not be happier with the work they performed and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them for any historic roofing project.

Renaissance provided the most detailed proposal for the complete restoration of the original clay asbestos tiles on our 92 yr old Sanctuary. The project included abatement of the original roof and replacement and installment of all new copper flashing and gutters. This summer we had our 100-year-old clay tile roof repaired by Roger and his team at Renaissance. They had to undertake quite a bit of sub-roof repair on this century-old home as well.
