Quality First Builders are very prompt and very caring. They make sure their work is 100% satisfied. They are so good. I would recommend them to anyone. They were always on time. Everything was well done. They made me happy. What I see in them as a company is really awesome. The guys were wonderful. Nick was so awesome and wonderful. He made sure that they work was done, it was done completely and that I was happy about it. Quality First Builders is good and a very, very wonderful company. I would use them again, and again, and again if I had too.
I was very happy with the work and had no complaints.
I have been business for over fifty years as an engineer. I really like them. They are really courteous, professional, and polite. I am really happy with them. They are good people.
The claim process with Quality First Builders was a long drawn-out process. It was really not their fault. It was just the situation with a hurricane.
Fabulous company.
Buy or beware!
Our project manager Todd was outstanding!
There are still finishing some items.
Only reason it is two stars is b/c the sub-contractor did a decent job. QFB's estimator took over a month to get an estimate back to me and thats only b/c I kept reaching out to him and QFB's office line. The project manager was onsite for no more than 15 mins throughout the process. He honestly looked at the job as below him by the amount of time he spent onsite and the lack of communication. Would recommend look at other local companies before using them.
After the beam fell in my living room and I reported it to the insurance, Quality Builders sent a person to prepare for the repair. I was told that they would begin, but nothing happened, then they sent another person and again there was a delay. However, once QFB sent "TrueBlue total house care" to my home, things changed. This company worked tirelessly on weekends to complete my repair. They did a fantastic job.
Fast professional and courtious
They changed supervisors three times. Each time it took a week or two for the new guy to come out and get started. One young man said if they would just let him do the job he would be done in two months. It was frustrating, it took forever.
The General Manager assigned to our job was not available for follow up and missed many deadlines he had communicated especially in the Thanksgiving, Christmas holiday periods. Work ceased on our project numerous times with no alerts or explanations provided. Consequently, job completion took two to three MONTHS longer than originally estimated. Subcontractors used seemed very professional but were hampered by poor direction provided by the General Contractor. Also, the GC resigned near the end of the project and I was never given this information. He also suggested I sign a work completion document so Insurance Company payment could be made to QFB. He assured that the pending job items would complete even though this document were signed. Without warning, he resigned from QFB days after our conversation.
PM Inform Progress - He was outstanding, professional and thorough.
Glen went out of his way to find the correct hinges to fit our cabinets and made the changes we asked for. Except for the function of one drawer we are satisfied with the quality of the cabinets and workmanship. Glen was always respectful and helpful. It took a bit longer to complete the job but most of that was due to our being out of town. The installation was precise and well done. A time or two appointments were canceled or no one showed up but all in all we are happy with the results.
Our gratitude goes out to Quality First. When we had an issue with mold that needed remediation because someone in our house has a very severe mold allergy, QFB did a careful, excellent job. In particular, Bob Hutchinson provided extraordinary leadership: concerned, compassionate, superbly competent. Todd Ray led a team of great performers who communicated consistently, did what they said they would do, and always seemed deeply committed to doing their work well. This is the first team of workers we've ever let have access to our house without our presence because they earned our trust.
Overall Services - We are tremendously impressed with the leadership and communication of the team, as well as the work.
Additional Comments - John Frawley was an extremely knowledgeable and professional individual. He did a fantastic job organizing and completing all repairs in a timely manner. Well Done John!!!

It was great dealing with Robert Carrasquillo from start to finish. He was always friendly and informative.
Process Improvement - No they were extremely professional and accommodating. I could not of been more pleased with Todd and his team.
QFB took care of organizing everything, plumbing, carpeting, painting. I didn't have to make a lot of phone calls to get people to do the work. The crews that came to my house were excellent, friendly and trustworthy. Most of the time I wasn't even there. I am very happy with the quality of the work that was done and how well Glenn organized it all. I would definitely recommend QFB.
Project Manager Overall - Glen did a great job of explaining what was going to happen and organizing it all. He was always available when I called with a question. Always very courteous.
Subcontractors Professionalism - The subcontractors were wonderful to work with. They listened to my concerns and were good about explaining what they were doing.
Additional Comments - I would definitely recommend Quality First Builders and the different crews that work for them.
They did a great job. John Frawley was responsive to inquiries and advised regularly regarding status.
I really doubt you'd want to publish my answer to the above question, after reading my responses to the preceding questions. Mr. Carrasquillo only showed up twice, first to 'compare' Mr. Cozart's estimate to one HE prepared - then later, to collect my deductible check AND Mr. Cozart's payment to me (which I endorsed, so it could be cashed/deposited by your subcontractor, I presume. Mr. Carrasquillo did NOT want to accept it that way; he had wanted a check for the combined amounts from ME, but I said "Why waste a perfectly good check?" After that I could never contact him by phone. He only contacted me once or twice, after I had talked with Mr. Cozart about 'problems' with the job his subcontractors had done and asked that he get someone to 'correct' them. 'Problems' with the job included my east end fence and gate replacement was done totally unlike how I had requested it before "Zach" started that part of my job. It took me more than two weeks to get anyone back here to re-do it! Also, I don't think Mr. Cozart's estimate 'intended' for ALL the popcorn finish to be stripped from the ceiling of my garage before repairs were made to the drywall. Even though "Zach" covered most of my 'stuff' in the garage, there was still a LOT of peeled popcorn covering parts of my garage after he removed his coverings and took them with him. Oh, the guy who came later to 'do' the new popcorn application... did NOT take his coverings with him, as contractors are supposed to do. He stuffed them into my recycle bin, 'coated' with popcorn splatterings! I didn't think the recycling collectors would appreciate that, so had to transfer it all to my garbage bin. When "Zach" got his instructions to return to my job site, he called me to ask "What exactly do you want redone?" I told him, and he became a bit antagonistic toward me about it. I replied that perhaps I hadn't described my 'requirements' clearly enough - to hopefully cool him down a bit. But he curtly replied "I'll be there at 8 tomorrow." I was expecting a rough time 'working' with him to re-do that part of my fence, but we were able to work as a team to finish the job satisfactorily. I'm 'happy' with the results.
Quality work at a fair price. Communication along the way could have been a bit better. Overall pleased with their performance.
