Team was fast, efficient, and communicated very well about the issues.
I am not happy with what they did here. A lot of things they did here, didn't come out well.
Very professional, and hard workers!
Communication was poor, not timely and they attempted to bill me for thousands of dollars' worth of work that never happened in my home.
They were extremely professional and helpful.
Property Doctors were very good. Very respectful, and did a very thorough job. I would highly recommend them to everyone!
Deberian de ser mas profesionales.
It was the worst experience of our lives. We had water damage after a fire, and pipes were not properly drained for winterizing. It has taken an entire year to get it fixed for what was mostly smoke damage. They didn't go through to see all the damage until the tenant was ready to move in.
Property Doctors were on time. They told me what they were going to be doing. They were very polite. Not only that, but they did everything that they said. Likewise, they left it all in pretty good condition.
When they were removing the wet drywall, a wire was cut causing the electricity to the garage, where 2 freezers were plugged in, to go out and did not notify the homeowners. IT was not until 1 week later that we discovered this when we went into the freezers. causing us to loose 2 full freezers of food. Costing us an additional 1k in water damage. The cut wire was obviously shoved up the wall to be hidden.
The two workers who evaluated my damage, took out wet and damaged drywall and flooring and took all of my possessions to storage were the hardest working most patient and diligent people I’ve ever met. They worked so hard. The office personnel made a lot of mistakes on my paperwork, so that was annoying. If not for my strange experiences with that, I would have given property Dr.s 5 stars. The people who worked in my home get 6 stars!
They put the wrong baseboards in and had to come to redo it. There are some gaps under some of the doors. I am a truck driver and I don't do remodeling. I had to fight with them to fix those problems. Now I need them to fix my electricity.
Very polite, timely, and did an excellent job.
The so called Property Doctors are in fact drug addicted wasters. They showed up sporadically and tore my house apart with the barbarism of early man. They tore out entire sections that were not and could not have been affected by the water damage. They never responded to any questions about who was going to put my bathroom ceiling back after they tore it out unnecessarily. Months later I am still repairing their unneeded damage and calculating the additional costs they created by destroying most of the trim removed. STAY AWAY FORM THESE CLOWNS!!!
Communication within the Property Doctors team was an absolute mess. My water mitigation, asbestos abatement, and material removal took longer than it should have and I essentially took over as middle man between the workers who arrived at the house and their project managers. It became evident that whatever was communicated to me at the house was not being relayed back to management, so I learned to call after every visit, which were many, to make sure communication was clear. Would not recommend. After I released them at a good stopping point, my new contractor sighed when he heard the name of who had done the preliminary work on the house. That spoke volumes. Furthermore, it took my contractors extra time to undo some of the confusing and sloppy work that had been done, for example- we took off several feet of lower drywall, when they removed the door casings they didn't remove them all, anything above 2 feet was broken off and left. Can't just remove the whole casing? Simply a story of "not my job." The people were very kind, but that doesn't mean I'd hire them again.
Property Doctors started my damage strong, I was extremely impressed by Tony. He came out right away and stayed until 2:00 a.m. to get me somewhat dried out, he also explained what he was having to do, and what would happen in the days to come. After that it went down hill, they sent a technician who had not been well communicated to, when the main office sent him to my home to pick up equipment, the truck was not big enough haul it all out, he also pulled up bathroom floor which did not have damage.
The scope and astonishing incompetence of EVERYONE I dealt with is beyond what a short review could possibly convey. When you are reading this ask yourself if its worth even taking a chance that you could have a similar experience? Just remember that these people will be in your home, and in your thoughts daily while the work is going on, so choose wisely. We had a kitchen flood, due to a dishwasher malfunction. Property Dr's came in and tore out ALL of the old cabinetry before anyone had taken any photos of what was there. After exposing and damaging friable asbestos in my House, It went sharply downhill from there. The work that was done was so poor that it cost over double the original estimate to have contractors come in a fix what they had destroyed. Nancy and her crew are the worst company I have ever done business with. The workmanship was so poor and the reconstruction was going to so poorly that My insurance provider and I decided it was best to Fire them. This was after they destroyed the original hardwood flooring and had to repair and refinish the entire houses wood flooring. Lest anyone think I am exaggerating, I have documentation and photographs to back up my claim, as well as the fact the Property Dr's is no longer on the Insurance list as an authorized contractor for one of the largest companies in the US, seems I wasn't in good hands with Property Dr's. I truly believe that my experience with property dr's took years off of my life. If you have a choice, and you DO, RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!
If I know someone I will.
After contractors evaluated the property, discovered numerous unnecessary damage to the house.
The biggest thing i had was communication. I understand in a remodel things come up and deadlines get pushed back. The mitigation part was awful. When Malcolm and his team came in it got better. With that being said we ran into some things unexpected. Things could've been better but overall im satisfied with the remodel and in the future ill have to be a little more open minded.
Overall it was very gpod.mal was very prof in how he operated.
Even though the project seems to be unending to these older folks-from drying to asbestos removal and then the rebuilding/remodeling phases-and with us knowing that each step was necessary and took time, we were the typical anxious home owners. We are quite pleased with Property Doctors and all the individuals with whom we had contact. The work was professional and the steps accomplished were explained quite well. Everything appears to have been completed and to our satisfaction,
The people have been courteous, and they have generally kept me informed as to the sequence of things and what is going to happen.
I enjoyed working with them. They were very professional in everything that they did.
I'm just wondering where the check is for some deals we paid for? I haven't received a check yet.
