very responsive from sales to installation

I think everything started really well. I liked the sales person, and what they presented to me., and the price was competitive. The installation process did not go very well. The guys did not seem very knowledgeable, and my husband had high expectations of the installation because he watched a lot of videos. He realized they were not doing the process properly during installation, and he also did not like the way the measurements were done which resulted in the windows not being aligned properly. They should have explained before the project that it was not possible to do it how we wanted, which was disappointing. We tried to see if we could get a discount or compensation, but they were very straight forward to say it was not their problem. We had some issues with them damaging parts of the wall and the wood board, and a guy had to come twice to fix the damages.

They responded to my request for a window replacement very quickly, and they were easy to work with. They also made it very clear and understandable for me of what was going to happen.

A general contractor is no better than their available sub contractors. Manning has very high standards for his subs, which they all acknowledged. They value Manning's business and went above and beyond to make sure that not only the homeowner was satisfied, but also the high standards of Manning. A homeowner can't vet individual tradesmen just from yelp and survey sites - to me, this is one of the key reasons to use a GC and in particular, Manning.

I would not recommend them to a friend because we have filed two warranty claims on the installation of my windows and patio door. I go months without hearing from them at all and I have to keep calling to get an update on the warranty work. The patio door isn't installed straight and one of the windows has holes. I asked for them to be replaced because the back patio doors aren't hanging correctly and it's been over a year. I'm still waiting on the claim for the windows; I still don't have replacements.

I can not make a recommendation since the installation workmanship was extremely poor.

It has been so long since the work was done I can't remember details. In general terms I recall feeling satisfied.

Stronghouse was a great advocate when working through the insurance/restoration process following our storm claim. They noticed damage our adjuster missed, and worked with our insurance company to ensure our home was repaired to it's pre-storm condition.

Amazing Communication.

I know there is a lot of competition in this space and Manning is, as far as I am concerned, the best in he business. They were excellent in the beginning with communication, follow-up, and with what they said versus what was delivered.
On-site, their workers were excellent. They were clean, prompt, professional, offered a variety of options, and had incredible patients in the process, which I think is a really big deal.
You get what you pay for. They might not be the cheapest out there, but when you get their product, you will be glad that you chose them!

From the very first meeting with Steve and Derek, they listened to what we wanted in our window replacements and worked to give us exactly what we needed. The communication every step of the way was amazing. We loved the installation process and the attention to detail by the owner who installed the windows and gave firsthand oversight to the others assisting. The finish work was perfect. We are very happy with the entire process start to finish!

The windows are beautiful and sealed very well. I can’t hear hardly any outside noise.
