I feel that the rates for our renewal are ridiculously high. In particular, the auto insurance premium is outrageous. The car is 14 years old, we are both in our 70s, and drive the car very little. The homeowners insurance is very much overpriced as well in my opinion

Would be a lot more helpful if the agents I’ve been working with for over 15 years would be more helpful with claims when we actually need to use the insurance. They’re always helpful in selling polices and collecting money, but when the client needs assistance with an actual claim it’s difficult.

It takes you for ever to do a simple task.

Tina was pleasant and prompt with correspondence, and she went to bat for me re the amount of increase Mercury was charging for a vehicle change. The downside is I had to flag the change in rate as unreasonable (almost double) and the first person I spoke to didn't seem to think there was anything to be done.
