Christy, our content coordinator, was absolutely amazing. She was very kind, and patient, walked us through the process, and answered all of our questions. Victoria Gilbert, our project manager, was hands down the most professional, helpful, and outstanding service.
Contractor Pat, poor painting. Painters cleaned brushes with my water hose in the yard and left the paint in the yard. Paint drops on the floor.Had to come back to replace outlets and light covers. Removed door knob, only replaced it with half a door knob. No explanation for 2 invoices from contents both stating contents and laundry, there was no lanudry.
Victoria Gilbert was great!
With Paul Davis, I had a fantastic professional experience. Every stage of the process was communicated with by my point of contact at Paul Davis. He informed me of everything. The Paul Davis personnel were really friendly, helpful, and polite. I was totally satisfied.
Their service was excellent. They were friendly, efficient, and I am pleased with the end results. My project manager, Victoria, was very good, as well as the ladies who packed my items. They were great, helpful, and friendly. Everything was done nicely.
They were having a hassle over the architectural designer. They said it was $6,000 then it was $3,000 for that. I don't know now what the architectural designer charges. Whoever it was, it was poor quality. We have 3 wall pocket doors. The bathroom pocket door will not slide all the way shut. There were 12 inches too much put in for the closet space, so now that door does not close all the way in. Where the tiled shower in the master bedroom is, they put the electric switch for the bathroom and fan on the wrong side. You have a problem when you are sleeping into bedroom. When you turned on the fan and light for the bathroom, the bedroom lights turn on. I know enough about construction and that's poor quality work. The door lacks 6 inches going into the wall door opening. Some things were done that I don't agree with. The designer needs to be told about the mistake he made. I would be happy to show them if they come over. If they had taken 6-8 inches more in the closet, there would have been enough. Some other things were that I had ceiling fans on the porch. They installed lights instead. Now I have to go buy fans and install them myself, just like when the house was built. It should have been done. I provided them the original drawing when we built this home. In the master bathroom, the towel rack was put in the wrong location. The rack is on the outside of the shower door. So you have to throw the towel over the shower glass or reach around to get the towel. The shower is 6-8 feet long on the inside, so that's plenty of room to put the rack on one end of that shower. Now the floor gets wet when you are getting out. When you are paying over a quarter of million dollars, those should have been taken care of properly, not improperly. The guest bathroom toilet paper dispenser was not installed properly. The thing that holds the paper falls off the wall. The fixtures weren't tightened enough, with the screws to hold the paper. I have a 5-year warranty on these things. The door problem is a total error and doesn't function.
Everybody was very nice to me. They did a great job of taking care of me.
