Started off strong, then fell apart near the finish line.
Scheduling for each phase consisted of a last minute rushed call from Cory the night before, asking if they could show up the next morning to begin each phase of the project.
Roof contractors were great, however they never installed metal fascia on the soffits. I’ll have to pay someone else to do that, otherwise my soffits will rot.
Decking and screen panel team wasn’t so wonderful. Their craftsmanship wasn’t horrible, but their time management left a lot to be desired, resulting in a few nights of them still swinging hammers and running circular saws at 9 PM, in violation of our city construction ordinances (which they were told about) and really irritating our neighbors. One of the nights, my wife had to go out (after me asking them to wrap it up three times) and tell them they needed to leave and come back in the morning.
There were some cutting errors on portions of the decking near our siding. They left a patch of the house uncovered by any siding—the tarpaper is visible. They moved our back yard spigot and mounted it so low to the ground that it’s now nearly impossible to screw on a hose.
One or more screens had small holes and cuts, and one of them is completely torn along one edge.
One of our sliding screen doors isn’t properly aligned and will not latch.
I was told there would be a final walkthrough to address any issues such as these. Silly me, I believed it.
The decking crew finished up, vanished, and we were met with complete radio silence. I was also missing a 100-foot extension cord for my outdoor grill valued at $75.00, which I texted the crew supervisor about. No one seemed to know where it had gone.
I received this survey via email, but I didn’t complete it, as I didn’t realize we were finished with the project. When I was charged the last of the three payments for the project, suddenly no one was interested in returning my calls or messages.
When I received an email about finishing the survey from Max Bajorek, the western regional VP, I informed him that I was not aware the project was complete and related all the above concerns. To his credit, he appeared to light some fires under a few folks, and I was contacted a few times by local representatives assuring me this would all be handled. It hasn’t been.
A walkthrough and repair was eventually scheduled by phone, but I waited all day for the gentleman to arrive. He never showed. No call, no nothing. After that, I couldn’t even get someone to reschedule. I have several emails showing the complete lack of follow through, as well as me (sometimes angrily) communicating these issues to company representatives.
I also reached out to our initial sales rep regarding these issues, and he told me he was no longer employed with the company. I also heard others who had been part of the project were no longer employed by the company. I was also told that this was no excuse and that they would make it right.
And nothing since. Emails and messages are now going unanswered, and we’re tired of being patient. We signed off on this project in the first week of November 2025. We’re at six months and counting and it’s still incomplete.
Though for the most part the actual construction is satisfactory, many aspects of this experience have left a very bad taste in our mouths.
Bottom line: It feels like once everyone had my big pile of money, they considered themselves done whether the project was completed correctly or not.
In closing, for all the reasons stated above, I would not recommend this company to any of my friends or family.
Our patio has not been completed after four months of signing the contract. I cannot recommend Patio Enclosure to anyone as long as the job is incomplete and abandoned. At present I advise all to stay as far away from them. They have taken the money but not delivered their part of the contract and they seem to have ghosted me. I would like to Patio E to get in contact with me asap.
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE WITH A BIG COMPANY. There were so many problems - including PE's failure to apply for permit to build my sunroom. PE failed to take responsibility to remedy those problems. It has been 4 months for a 2-week project, and project is still not done. I have contacted all possible managers... sales manager, project manager, regional operations manager, regional manager... but no one responds to me or discuss how to fix the problems... to this date. My sunroom still has no permit and no final city inspection.
We are less than half way through the project, so it’s too early to give a full review. I will reserve comments until the project is completed. So my
Through much trial and error the stainless steel screens have been installed and look great. Special thanks to Chris for ordering the screens and getting the project finished
Friendly and helpful people who make commitments and follows through on them.
We had requested the job to be finished by Thanksgiving as we were having guests from out of the country. The job kept getting delayed until Jan. first, 2026.
I am still waiting for them to start work.
I don’t know yet since it’s still leaking last time it rained
The Fainting Goat Teammemebers are amazing from start to finish.
Indefinite delays, zero to no communication, wrongly manufactured parts even after months of delays. Super disappointment as a customer, even bare minimum is missing. dont think PE at all care about their customers. Still project not done. So much money and time we have invested in it, and PE does not even care. Realyl disheartened and disappointed, not gonna recommend to my friends and family, though hoping if you take this feedback at all seriously, you will finish it up at high quality so my opinion may change.
The skylight is holding water and it's already accumulating dirt. We reached out but there is no response. Also, the sliding door does not lock and they are aware of it.
We are happy with the product but the numerous issues prior to installation and the service after the installation has been problematic. I could go into details, but I won't. Just know that service AFTER the installation has been nonexistent. One issue I will share is after the installation; we noticed the vertical seam on the right side was NOT caulked. We immediately notified them, and we agreed on Thursday of the following week for the installers to come finish the job. NO ONE showed up or contacted us. I sent numerous emails, left voicemails for weeks afterward and still to this day, NO ONE has bothered to call me back.
Excellent staff and contract team
My project has NOT been completed - it’s been close to about 60 days since it was approved by my HOA.
Great sales experience and good quality product, but subcontracted installers were subpar. Left unfinished wood on the exterior, cut jagged lines in decking with a multitool, didn’t screw down the cut decking edges they created, gouged gutter, silicone caulk left smeared on existing finished surfaces, set off smoke alarms burning through wood because they cut it with the wrong blade, etc. Salesperson offered to come and help fix, so that was nice, but I prefer to fix myself to avoid anymore hassle.
