I didn't get what I paid for.
The entire process was disappointing. The salesman sold something that could not be delivered and never provided other options. Communication was non-existent. The only calls I received were when you wanted payment. Initial installers left with duct tape holding screens in place - this was considered substantially complete, even though we were dealing with flies for the entire summer. The product was not what the salesman told us would be installed. Screens were damaged, panels were not plumb, railing was not level from panel to panel, etc. Entire project which was supposed to be 5-7 weeks took 8 months.
They were on time very respectful and knowledgeable about there task
The first install ended with the sliding doors uneven and a broken window and a floor that was ripped out with no intention to put back. The second install didn't fix the windows. The third install fixed the windows but left the floor destroyed. You took out final payment out of our bank account without my permission. Your rep lied to me and told me your company paid over a thousand for a city permit that was only 90.00. The worst experience with a contractor of a lifetime!!
Good work
Project still not complete. Floor damaged, and adhesive on ceiling.
The designer/sales person told us that our job would take about a week. After working for about three days, the construction crew left our job half completed and told us that they would have to "wait to see if the rest of our enclosure came in on the truck on Friday". We didn't hear anything for two weeks, so we called the only contact number we had, which was the salesperson. He told us that it was the first time he was hearing of it, and that he'd call us right back. He didn't call us, and the crew never returned to finish the job. Since we were told that the job would take about a week, and almost two months had elapsed since the work started, I seriously considered contacting the PA Attorney General's office. It was only after making that threat that the crew returned to complete the job.
Quality of materials and installation efficiency and neatness
I would not recommend Patio Enclosure at all. They are non-responsive to many of my phone calls and they did horrible work. My roof blew off on December 29, 2024 because they did not use proper wind screws to hold the structure down. I had to go to arbitration to try and resolve all the issues that I had with the Enclosure including a leaking roof, a door that was never replaced because they put in a support beam too big for the threshold, a smashed tube light in my kitchen when the roof flipped back which is now leaking onto my kitchen floor. There was also other damage to the structure and unfinished work items. Patio Enclosure was unresponsive to my questions and seven times came to my house to fix the issues of which nothing got resolved. I lost my arbitration case which the decision was totally unfair and very expensive. I would not recommend Patio Enclosures to anyone.
We complained that a storm door had been installed improperly (the keyed lock mechanism was on the inside of the three-season room instead of the outside. Thus the lock could be unlocked from the outside by the turn of a knob, not preventing entry from the outside). It took weeks of emails and phone calls to at last get a new door installed, after they denied that anything was wrong.
Not at all.
The project was delayed multiple times. It was impossible to reach anyone via phone. Some of the materials arrived damaged.
I was told the job would be completed in 3 or 4 days. I was not told the glass enclosure would be completed and then they order the flooring and send the electrian to install the ceiling fans. This held up completion of the project for several more weeks. Also when the glass enclosure was installed the windows were left extremely dirty and had a smearing finished over all the windows. I had to pay a window cleaner 150 to clean all the windows. The windows, and flooring are good quality but these issues were not as promised by the sales representative. Also there were a few holes that should have been caulked by the installer. These holes were from removing pillars that were previously on my covered patio.
I placed an order with Patio Enclosure and gave them a check for $1,100 (1/2 the total for the order for vertical blinds) with understanding that the balance be paid upon installation. When installation was made it was recognized that the blinds were NOT the pattern ordered. Blinds to be reordered and reinstalled. I stated that I would pay balance upon installation of correct blinds. WITHOUT my permission they have taken the money from my bank account using the information on my first check. Sam (female employee on the phone) was rude and threatening on the phone and has taken my money without permission . My bank account shows withdrawal but i did not write checks for the balances withdrawnw
Never would recommend
Arrived on time, stayed on task, good cleaned up.
Employees were very next and courteous. Work was completed promptly. Very pleased with installation although it would have been helpful if windows had been cleaned upon completion.
Finished product exceeded expectations. Just gorgeous!
