I really love the quality and simplicity of my patio cover. While it was a bit expensive, I think the workmanship and material justifies the cost.
You asked so here is OUR experience
1st scheduled appointment no one showed up. I called and no one knew what happened. 2nd scheduled appointment was March 13, 2025. Appointment was at 6:00 he got stuck in traffic arrived at 6:30. He was very pushy and did NOT leave until 9:50pm. I made homemade soup for dinner, thinking we would eat around 7 since our appointment was 6 pm. I told him we hadn’t had dinner and he responded “if it makes you feel better neither have I”. Kept pushing and stated the discount he showed us would disappear when he left if we didn’t sign now. We asked for a day or two to discuss and he said he would step into the next room. Duh. We signed- BIG MISTAKE! The second team came to verify measurements on April 11, 2025 at 6:00 pm. Build scheduled for MAY 22, 2025, postponed due to supplies not arriving. Rescheduled for June 5, 2025.
Installation was a disaster…. They were very messy, scratched the material, scratched my floor, measured to short and filled it with silicone caulk. I complained to the supervisor and was told it would all be covered up when completed. Just wait and see. I’m sorry but the price we paid it should have been perfect! I still was not satisfied and sent pictures explaining how it looked. Another supervisor came and I could tell from his expression it was a disaster. The windows were in backwards, the walls were not stable, they were not attached at the bottom, the post they installed were not straight. The doors were not level and they didn’t seal around the floors. I was told the people doing the install were employees. When I refused to sign the completion and satisfactory form, he said “us contract employees won’t get paid until this is complete”.
They had to tear it out and rebuild. They reused the same material, but replaced the post. They painted over the scratches, but I still see them. For the price we paid it should have been All New Materials.
I recommend that you ask for references from people in your area!
I’m stuck with it.
Our installer was excellent. He truly is a craftsman and cares a great deal about the product he produces.
Right now I would not recommend Patio Enclosures. My project is NOT complete (I’ve been staring at a tarp for almost 2 mos now). PE said it is complete so I’ve filed a dispute with GreenSky. I can’t get anyone to provide me routine updates on my project. I’m having to chase people down. Also no update on a patio door replacement that was damaged during install.
