I HIGHLY recommend Old Fort Roofing. This was the first big house project my husband and I took on and Old Fort Roofing made it incredibly simple, effortless, and efficient.Old Fort Roofing was fantastic from the moment we approached them at the Fort Wayne Home and Garden Show in March through to the completion of our roof installation. Shannon was extremely attentive to our questions and needs. We interviewed a couple other roofers, but Old Fort Roofing and Shannon were the clear favorites. All our questions and concerns were addressed and answered. Time and care was taken to ensure we understood what would be happening and why and how. When it came time to remove the old roof and install the new, the crew was efficient, diligent, and very fast. The old roof and gutters were removed and the new roof installed in one day. The gutters were replaced with new within a week. There was one instance where the siding was damaged, but Shannon sent Scott our information and he personally came out to work out a solution with us. The damaged siding was easily replaced and looks absolutely fantastic. Scott also realized that the color we had originally chosen for the roof was not what was installed. My husband and I had commented between the two of us that the new roof looked lighter than we remembered our selection being, but were so pleased with how it looked that we didn't think too much of it. Scott surprised us with confirmation that the wrong color roof had been installed. He was incredibly apologetic and offered a couple of solutions. We were happy to keep the roof as it was installed and Scott gave us a discount due to the mistake. Shannon and Scott were both with us every step of the way and very friendly, very attentive.Overall, Old Fort Roofing ensured our interaction with them and our roof replacement was as effortless as possible. They are an amazing company with wonderful customer service! And our roof and gutters look fantastic!

Old Fort Roofing did an excellent job with the installation, it looks awesome. I also appreciated the follow-up they did where they found some flashing issues and corrected it. However, I did report to them that one of my downspout outlets at ground level had been smashed nearly flat. I provided photographs and was told they would return to replace the flattened section. My mistake was paying the final bill before this repair had been performed because now I cannot get them to return to do the replacement. Its been over a month. I called their office and told them I would like this taken care of so I could write a thorough review of their services. I was assured someone would contact me. To this date no one has and I cannot recommend a company that does not follow through or repair items that they damaged. I cant imagine it would take long or cost that much to replace considering the 9000 dollars I had already spent on the roofing job.

Recognized Excellence - The kids and I were trying to get the winter cover off of our pool, the workers offered to help us. It was very kind of them.

After a strong storm late in the roofing season, I needed a repair… and quickly! I called various companies- some which I question their ethical practices surrounding insurance. Luckily though, I called Scott at Old Fort Roofing as well. He came to my residence and gave me a no-pressure estimate for the repair. In addition I asked for an estimate for complete replacement the following season. OFR’s pricing was competitive and was backed by great product and warranty. I decided to get the repair done before winter and sit on the decision for full replacement. The repair was done quickly, within days, and to my expectation. As spring approached I expected to be pressured into the next step- a replacement roof. Not the case! Scott let me take the time to decide. Zero pressure like most experience from other companies. The local/small business “feel” I got from OFR made my choice to move forward a no-brainer. Once I placed the order things moved swiftly. The crew arrived around 7a and didn’t waste a minute getting started. They placed tarps around the house thoroughly to protect landscaping and to capture debris. My roof was completed around 5p so it took a full day. Clean-up was impressive and I found only a few nails afterward, which is expected. Overall I was pleased with the entire experience and would recommend Old Fort Roofing to anyone. Thanks again to Scott and the OFR team!

Areas Of Satisfaction - Old Fort Roofing met and exceeded my expectations with the cleanliness of the job after my roof was installed. They did a good job of cleaning up the small pieces afterwards which is important when you have small children.

They were efficient and cleaned-up well. It took only one day and was great.
