The company was friendly and responsive in terms of setting up the service. Upon beginning the job, we realized that they were removing the ice with crow bars and the back claw of a hammer. Our insurance representative warned them to ensure that they don’t damage the roof as that is not a safe method to remove ice dams. The job was completed and we later realized that several pieces of our personal property were damaged by falling ice. The Oaks representatives never let us know that this was an issue and did not ask us to move any of the items away from the house during the job. A patio chair was broken, a furniture cover was torn, and a grill cover was torn after this job was completed. In addition, I have started finding chunks of shingles on my porch as the snow began to melt. Overall I am very dissatisfied with the level of care shown by the Oaks team in doing the job at our house.
Work with Eric, who was great! Great service and roof looks amazing!!
Your customer service (aside from Elton who was great) is laughable. You people have no idea how to communicate with your customers.
I found 4 roofing nails in my driveway and 4 on my deck. 1 guy was late and never really did anything because the other guy was almost done by the time he got there.
The crew before that put the metal up to my peaks drilled a hole through my trex decking when they were screwing boards down to hold their ladder. He said they were just screwing them through the gap into the joists in-between but he missed. I have tried to fix it but will probably have to replace that board now because I see it everytime I walk out because I know it's there.
Oaks Roofing and Siding does not tell you when they are going to show up to do the work. They just show up.
They were friendly and thorough with everything!
I was really impressed, especially with Mark McNulty. He really did a good job! He was terrific!
