I thought Oaks Roofing and Siding were on the expensive side. They charged around $280 to come out. I’ve had a furnace technician come out before who only charged about $90. $280 seems pricey for just an hour of work, especially since I live only about four blocks from their headquarters.

Job completed quite nicely!

They explained everything about the process, They were proficient and professional.

1. Fix the problems - looking out the window of my second floor home I can see the black tar which according to the regional supervisor was to be taken care of during the installation of the new roof.
2. Address the siding issue which according to my claims adjuster was not correctly done for the left bottom side of the dormer.
3. I was assured that the damage caused on the ceiling due to not completely covering the roof during the rainstorm would be repaired at no cost to me, but this has not been done.
4. Provide an explanation as to why my text messages and phone calls have not been answered.

I was very pleased with the Roofing crew and especially their supervisor Nate, very professional, honest, and efficient. The gutter crew was also very good and professional.

Installer was courteous, helpful, and professional. Would recommend him to anyone.

I was told that this was a local company with local people . The window crew came from Rochester as well as the siding crew. I believe they were sub contracted. The siding people did great work but I was disappointed that I could not talk to them and ask some questions .I believe that they were from Guatemala , and they did not speak any English. Great work though. On site supervisor was from Rochester as well . The gutter installer came from Pittsburgh . Did a good job. Had to go 3 weeks w/o gutters. Scheduling mix ups, weather in Pittsburgh was bad so he assumed that it was bad in Erie.
