Fantastic experience with the entire Novalis team. Multiple roofing companies told me our roof was "top 1% challenging"... 140yrs old, multiple layers of shingles, steep, dormers, rotted wood, yankee gutters. Novalis had the most thorough gameplan that maintained the character of the home, beautiful craftsmanship, timely execution, and solid, professional communication.

The professionalism displayed - from initial assessment, to proposal preparation and explanation, and final to removal of my old roof and installation my new Owens Corning roof was exceptional. Beyond any of my previous home improvement or maintenance projects, my roof replacement with Novalis was the most stress free and most completely satisfactory experience of my life. I received multiple suggestions during our evaluation that improved the ventilation of our attic spaces, improved the overall aesthetics of our home, and improved water diversion. Every person I spoke with over the phone or who came to our home exceded my expectations. The owner of the company came to our house during the work being done, and all members of the crew were well spoken, courteous, friendly, skillful and detail orientated. A wonderful foreman was here at all times, available to answer every question. Through out the day, men cleaned around our home. We have extensive landscaping next to the house and plywood structures were created to protect certain things, with additional use of breathable tarps hung to prevent any possible damage. Our wooden deck was protected with plywood and the rails draped. Each day I received a report of the work accomplished, accompanied by photos which showed any areas that had needed replacement plywood. Thanks to a trim, well designed truck backed up on our driveway next to the house, parked on plywood, no dumpster was needed either. Every aspect of our work with Novalis was problem free and positive.

Novalis recently (June 2020) did our roof and we can't be happier! Mervin was the foreman of the crew that worked on our roof. He and his was crew were exceptional. I waited awhile to see how it performed in some heavy rain conditions before making this post. It looks great and performs great! Novalis will probably never be the low bidder, but I have zero complaints. I would definitely recommend using them.
