Installation Crew - The installation crew arrived promptly as scheduled. They came with all the product, equipment, tools and lumber/ trim to install and finish the job. They were very quiet, extremely neat and made certain that our home was perfectly clean when they left. Before starting the installation, they put up plastic sheeting and contained any construction sawdust, etc. to their work area. When they left, our home was perfectly clean from floor to ceiling.

It took way too long to get it right. Upon initial order, sales person did a measure. Thrn they sent a separate measurement guy to confirm the measures were correct … Then I had to wait for them to be made … Then my new window STILL came in 4” off and could not be installed. They measured again and reordered a new window … Then I had to wait 2 more MONTHS for the 2nd new window to cone in. All in all it took from April to November - SEVEN FULL MONTHS - to get 2 windows & a door installed. I didn’t even get an apology for their mistake. No understanding at all.

The installers were in a hurry and wanted to get home. The new trim was cracked in areas, dented, bad paint job. When I complained responsive was fast; first guy to come to fix it said he wasn’t the painter and would alert office to reschedule. Office didn’t call; when I called we rescheduled again. The second guy said he also wasn’t the painter and would let office know. Office never called. I fixed it myself; I don’t have time to keep calling and opening my schedule for nothing.

Our experience with Next Door and Window was everything and more than we expected. From Sales to Installation the process was communicated professionally and with the utmost courtesy. We heartily recommend Next Door and Window to our community and friends.

Installation Quality - The install crew for the windows was very attentive to the quality of the installation. The window Foreman knew of my background in home construction and asked for approval on certain details of the exterior flashing, showing me a sample of the intended process. Each of the crew knew their roles, and their craftsmanship was superb. The door installer was an expert craftsman who had several hurdles to overcome with the rough openings during replacement. His skill and attention to detail was well beyond the many carpenters I had worked with in the past, and everything worked out so precisely when he installed both new doors. Clean-up was excellent.
