We were very pleased with the installation of new siding as well as with all of the exterior painting Nelson Exteriors did for us in 2016. Our property has been pressure washed three times since then and our experiences have always been very positive. And our paint job always looks very fresh and clean after being pressure washed. I have recommended the company to several friends since our original work was done.

I have had other workers in my home for five months with jobs including bathroom and laundry remodels; the difference between that team and the Nelson team were truly night and day. Nelson resurfaced my deck (Trex composite), which included new railing (wood/composite/baluster. The work started with a quote by Chris Ray who was prompt with any questions I had; he could not have been more helpful. I took my time with deciding on repair or going with the composite. He whipped up a quote and things moved quicker than I could have imagined. John Skinner was my project manager (PM) and he was absolutely fantastic, along with the installers who were great. What impressed me most is that they worked as a team and brought me in for any discussion where I needed to make a decision about something. I truly feel that I have the best deck on the street and it is such a pleasure to have this work completed by such friendly and competent people. It took two days and I only regret I can't show a picture on this survey! And I don't want to forget the office staff. The nicest and most energetic people. They seemed so excited about the install and always eager to answer questions.

Beginning with Ryan who delinquently worked within my budget, we came in underbudget. Jorge de Angel, the contractor, was on site, easy to reach by phone, and took care of every concern throughout the project. Alex, the on-site lead painter, and his crew took care of painting the house, trim, shutters garage doors, deck screened porch and 16x20 art studio. They were on time and worked through the day until 6pm. I am so glad I choose Nelson Painting and would recommend they're entire staff for job well done.

They did an excellent job.

I really was impressed with the company and with the work done, except for the painters who were just ok. They were young and generally not experienced enough to do a thorough, professional job - little things were left undone, windows painted shut, etc. Their leader was also somewhat flippant and just didn't put in the time and concern that a really good painter would have.

We will be using Nelson for future projects and to do our downstairs windows next spring.

They did a fantastic job replacing the rotting cedar siding and reframing the rotting chimney. Good attention to detail in the painting and finishing work.

We've had a lot of work done over the years, and this is the first company that communicated perfectly the entire time. They had a lot of work to do so it took many days to complete it, but we knew what was happening at all times, and we were happy.

The experience from the initial sales/consultation to when the project was ~90% complete was generally positive and I would have recommended Nelson. The biggest concern was that gutter install, painting and the final punch list items took over 6 weeks to complete. While there were a few days of weather delays, when the weather cleared, other projects were prioritized. It was very frustrating to have our deck and patio in disarray for weeks longer than planned and necessary.

My sales person underbid what the repair cost would be so once they started with repairing the siding, it increased my cost over $1500.

They said they had someone on the side to check the work, but 99% of the time, he wasn't there. He didn't want to listen to what I had to say. He didn't know much about customer service. He was the supervisor.

Overall, very happy with the whole process. No hassles, no surprises.

Had entire house painted. Overall did a very good job and crew supervisor was easy to work with. Painters did leave overspray on my deck but fortunately I had extra deck stain which they touched up for me. Also painted several of my upstairs windows shut which took me a while to unstick. Could have been better supervision of the painters, but overall pleased with the results.
