My House Renovation was GREAT! From the beginning to the end of this process, they made sure that we understood exactly what was going to happen, was happening, and what had happened. The owner, Bjorn Metzger, made it his business to communicate with us everyday, whether the team was actually working on the roof or not, and kept me up to date about what to expect with inspections, necessary extra repairs (our house is over 50 years old), and expected time of completion. Micah, who we spoke with initially, worked closely with us to make sure that the financing worked for us.The workers on the job itself were efficient and unfailingly polite and professional, to say nothing of getting the job quickly. Best of all, they were very thorough in cleaning up after themselves; I didn't find any debris from the roof replacement anywhere in my yard after the job was done--an important thing, since I have pets.I and my family are VERY pleased with the work that My House Renovation has done, and recommend them highly.

Professional quality work at a reasonable price!

MHR rep, Wade, and roof/gutter replacement crews were experienced and provided high quality service and follow-through as needed. Previous roof repairs revealed that composite shingles had been overplayed on the original roof three times. The roof comes with a lifetime guarantee and the reflective composition will add to reduce heat penetration. Two additional valleys were installed to handle run-off. The installation of an additional downspout was handled very nicely.

These guys really did a great job. I only took one point off, because their original estimate, that they had me sign, was actually off by well over 10%. I realize all dry rot cannot be determined until shingles are removed, but a lot of dry rot was easily recognized in the eaves when the project supervisor came out. Resulted in more than a couple of thousand dollars higher than originally estimated. I would recommend them, but would suggest asking for a project supervisor to help produce the first estimate you sign.

I would definitely recommend My House Renovation to friends as MHR delivers everything they promise. I elected to have their "coating" application applied to the exterior of my home instead of vetting several ordinary painting contractors because of MHR's unique product that means I will NEVER have to paint the outside of my house again.

Additional Comments - The work crew that was at the house was very clean. They left the house very clean, and they were very friendly and not intrusive whatsoever. With having every single window and glass door replaced, that is pretty hard to say.

Areas For Improvement - Although roof removal is a messy job and roofing paper and nails are common place, in my opinion, the tear off subcontractor could have done a better job to contain the roofing debris that was not addressed prior to them leaving the job site.Subsequently, on a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate the tear off crew a 3. Sorry, but I'm still picking up nails off my asphalt driveway!

Quality Of Materials - The materials look great. In fact, my wife said once we get our house painted it will look like a brand new home. However, the true test of the material can only be verified by time and weather to confirm it's quality and installation.

Work Done Right

Work Done Right - We had a bit of a issue with the garage gutter. It was sloped down on one end to ensure "proper draining" but looked unprofessional; like it was coming off the house. To MHR's credit, when I pointed it out, they immediately sent someone out to rectify the situation.

Value Received

Value Received - Again, the price we paid was higher than your average 15 year roof quote, but as long as the Owens Corning roofing system we had installed lives up to it's 50 year Warranty, I will feel like I received a fair value for the extra expense. Time will tell.

Great salesperson, no pressure and addressed my concerns. His visit came one week after a leak occurred in my garage. The obvious location was the juncture of 3 roof lines. Looking at the same location now...after the re-roof, I am confident that there is no longer an issue. I am happy with the results.
