Miller & Smith did not have much design options to chose from like other builders. They do not have a proper design website where buyers can see and chose the different options provided. Secondly, Miller and Smith sold me the option to have a covered porch but when the time came to get the design approved by county they came back and said that the county did not approve a covered porch due to property restriction line. I would have expected the builder to do this kind of research before offering the option to t he buyer. It was so late in the buying process that I had to accept it because I lost the opportunity to go with other builders by that time. This was truely dissapointing. Thirdly, we asked for a specific door colour which was among the approved options of the Miller and Smith designs but they kept insisting on HOA rules and approved design for my plot. However, all other houses around me were given those colours. The closing was also delayed by almost 4 months which costs me a lot of money as I had to renew my lease. And there was no compensation for it however, the contract clearly said that if there was a delay from the buyers end, there will be fine imposed. This was very unfair. And last but not the least, i do not think the overall quality of materials used and the contractors working were up to the par with other builders in the area.

Very disappointed with Miller and smith at the end of this important journey. House, quality, conditions was good. At closing they charged me unexpected $2,500 for changing closing date. The date was changed by my bank which had nothing to do with me. Very disappointed and will make sure to let freinds, family and neighbors about it.

When purchasing a home, everything is very stressful and timely. However Deborah and Jeff at Miller & Smith were the first faces that greeted me and made my dreams. Come true.

I liked the build quality and the design, and I especially liked working with Stephanie, Hailey, and Nelson during my process. I was one of the first ones in the community, so I traveled with them from last April to my delivery in mid-March. It was a wonderful experience with them. The sales and technical team were the main reason I wanted to recommend them.

Please see my comment below about our 2 outstanding issues - spice cabinet and fireplace item. Not getting a real answer on these items is frustrating. Otherwise, as mentioned throughout the survey, Shaun and Woody were terrific to work with. And Stephanie did a terrific job with us when we were making our builder selections.

Miller and smith houses are expensive. Affordability will be an issue whit regards to recommending to friends.

We probably have more experience with new home purchases than the average middle class working family, so we feel confident that we can provide meaningful insight. Miller and Smith stands head and shoulders above their competition class and new home builders in general. The 2 main areas of concern for us are quality construction and customer relationship management, more particularly customer service. We have never encountered the level of sophistication and professionalism with any other builder that compares to Miller and Smith!

Stephanie was fantastic throughout the entire process. She is a good representative for Miller & Smith and their clients. She is very honest and helpful and is one of the best representatives Miller & Smith has.

Double check kitchen appliances and kitchen cabinets drawers.

Miller and Smith has ling been on our list as a builder given the quality of their properties and the strong organization they are. We are excited to close on our new house with them.

Low quality workmanship,cheap material compared to price we paid,slipshod finish on flooring leaving huge gaps between edges, elevator door misaligned, door did not latch properly on elevator, different size nails were used to hang the elevator door leading to safety concerns on our behalf, cheap PVC pipes and fittings in bathrooms - we already had to replace one, paint quality is very poor with visible roller marks and rough surface and marks so easily.

Sales team is great. However, they were the only interaction we had with a miller and smith employee. None showed up to the 2 walks, only Pro Home rep, not even to introduce themselves. Also, keys given to us a closing, specifically front door did not open the door. Instead of handling immediately or even same day, especially when you trying to move in it became a service cal.

I would not recommend this Miller Smit to my friends and families.
