Although the crew left the job on 11/20/25, it was dark and raining on completion and the project manager shared that he would return in a few days to walk the job with us together and take pictures. It was noted on 11/20 with both homeowners in different conversations that many shingles were wavy and not laying flat and this would need a warmer day with sun to eventually lay. The project manager did not return in a few days with receipt, warranty, pictures or assessing the 'laying' of the raised shingles throughout the roof. On 11/20, we alerted the project manager that our outdoor HVAC units had many roofing nails and shingles in them and one was not running properly and he shared that we should proceed with an assessment of the unit by our chosen HVAC specialist and this issue was resolved. On 11/24, after the rain and clouds lifted and it was sunny, we notified the project manager that our front roof had large discoloration stripes on the front of our house. We sent pictures and the project manager shared that he also saw those and had reported it to Owens Corning. The project manager relayed to us a few days later that Owens Corning wanted a few more pictures of the stripes to assess. These pictures have also not been taken and we assume no movement with Owens Corning. It took several texts to get a paid invoice and warranty from Mighty Dog. We alerted the project manager that we needed the promptly to be insured with our homeowners and we did eventually get a warranty with the start date of 12/9. We alerted the project manager that the start date was incorrect and concerning as we considered the work incomplete with the above issues. We understand that Mighty Dog may have an issue with Owens Corning on the discoloration, but we do not. Our business relationship is with Mighty Dog and the issue was from the application date, not one that arose later under our warranty. Likewise, the waviness and laying of the shingles is a workmanship issue that needs assessment. We paid $26,000 for a roof that places our home at a lesser value as it stands now than before the replacement and looks very bad on a sunny, non-wet day. We did share with the project manager prior to the job beginning that we were fine with waiting beyond the forecasted clouds and rain.
