They are expensive. My friend lives in Delaware and had 14 windows put in her home, which only cost her a certain amount. The windows in my home have cost me double that. I love the windows, but they are too expensive.
Quality windows installed quickly and efficiently.
The rep who performed the demonstration and got us a quote was really knowledgeable. The actual work crew who did the installation was phenomenal.
The company was nice, but I have seen better.
They provided great service and did everything in 6 hours. I couldn't be happier.
No, I would not recommend them to a friend.
The windows are very nice. The manufacturer was very quick to complete the order.
Installation was very professional.
The windows turned out exactly like the salesman said they would. The installers were excellent workers!
I was extremely satisfied, from the moment I placed the telephone call. The follow through after the initial call was a wonderful experience.
My husband and I were very excited to go with Long Windows, as they have many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience has not been very positive and I need to express what we have gone through, in hopes this does not happen to anyone else. Our experience started with our sales lady. We purchased our windows on July 29th believing we ordered 5 windows, one large one for our bay window in the family room, one smaller one for our kitchen and 3 standard windows for our bedrooms. When the person who measures the windows for accurate sizing came to our house, he noticed a window was missing from the order. He told my husband that this would be addressed and someone would call us (this was approximately a week or so after we purchased our windows.) No one called or contacted us, all we received was an addendum to my husband's email for almost $4,000 more than what we originally purchased our windows for. Again, no call, just this email. I called 8/14, immediately, wanting to understand the increase in cost. My husband and I could no longer afford the windows at this price. I was told this was not the price that was being received on the other end, as the person I spoke with was seeing approximately $1,000 more than what our windows were originally purchased for. She stated someone would call us and reach out to explain what is going on. Our sales lady called me later that day (8/14) and stated, "I am going into a sale right now and will call you later." We did not hear from her again. I called approximately a week later from my 8/14 call (around 8/22), to receive no help in the reason for the change in cost. My husband received a voicemail from someone stating to sign the addendum so that we can work on the windows. Again, no explanation just sign a piece of paper for $4,000 more. At this point, we were very frustrated that no one was getting back to us and I called again on a week later, 8/28. I explained to the person we were very frustrated no one had called us, we would potentially like to cancel our order and did not appreciate the lack of communication we have received for our order. The person explained that the project manager is on vacation from 8/26-9/3. I explained I had been calling since 8/14 without a call back from our project manager and this was not acceptable that I still do not have an explanation for the addendum. They told me they would reach out to another project manager to see if they can assist. I received a call from Ray and he told me he would reach out to the project manager in charge of our windows to see what can be done. On 9/4 I received a text message from Tara stating, "Hello! This is Tara the manage from Long Home Products. I apologize for the confusion with the addendum. I am going to send you a new addendum for the window, adding the master bedroom window without changing the price point. If you could do me a favor and access it in your email and sign off, I would greatly appreciate it!" We signed the addendum and sent it in. At this time, we heard nothing from the company. I texted Tara on 10/10 since it had been some time since we heard from your company and we were told our windows would be in between 4-6 weeks from ordering, and it had been almost 10 weeks. I received a call on 10/11 that our windows were in and ready for installation. We set up for 10/19 because my husband and I work full time and this was a day I could take off from work. I was originally told on 10/11 the insert would start between 8-10 AM. On 10/18 I received a text message asking if they could reschedule install time. I have two young children that nap at the time they asked to come (between 12-2) but really wanted my windows installed on this day and did not want to wait any long. I agreed to this time. On the day of installation, 10/19, the windows started to be installed and realized one window did not have grids (master bedroom window) and our kitchen window was not there. No one told us that the kitchen window was being installed at a later time and the master bedroom window did not have grids as all of our other windows did and we paid for gridding. I called Ray, our project manager for the day, and he told me that the window had not been delivered and would be installed at a later time. I agreed and he stated he would look into the grid issue for the master bedroom. During installation of our big window in the family room, the window shattered. Accidents happen and I am not angry at the accident, but it was just another thing that went wrong. We had a piece plywood in the window and was told the soonest they can get a new window would be November 1st. Then, it turned into November 19th, then December 12th and finally I got a date of December 4th. I asked to speak with managers and district managers and was told someone would get to me or call me back. Up until the week of Thanksgiving I was calling weekly for an update. I did not care if there wasn't an update, I just wanted to know that someone was working on getting our windows and that we weren't forgotten about. Then, I started calling daily just trying to get answers on when the windows were going to be installed. I was never rude or nasty, just frustrated and I know no one would want to be treated like this. When I finally got the date on December 4th via email, they told me it was tentative because they were told the window should be delivered by December 1st. I never heard anything, so I assumed either they were coming to install or the windows did not come and we were out another day from work for installation. No communication on Long Windows part.
The windows were finally installed. They are nice quality windows and we are satisfied with the product, but the lack of communication that was received during this entire process and lack of respect for our project was very disheartening and I would never recommend this company to anyone. We have been trying to get compensation for this project since 12/4/23 and it's been two months. We were finally told we could get $800 back for our experience. Between everything that happened and our experience, it was a complete slap to the face and filed with BBB.
They cost too much.
Everyone at Long was very professional and easy to work with. Made the process go very smoothly.
The crews that installed my windows were professional and timely.
Make sure you are getting a full replacement window and not just something that sits in the existing frame.
They need to do a better job of eliminating all the dust.
I have referred them to my sister, who will also have windows done by them.
Not sure
All the people involved with my project were outstanding. Each person did their best to assist me. I needed their guidance.
I have Long do a lot of work for me and I have been happy with all of it.
I was a little hesitant because I only knew of Long Sense, but I was very pleased with everything. The service was fast, efficient, and we love our new door.
Overall experience was a disappointment.
I am likely to recommend Long Home Products because I found them to be very professional and courteous. The reason why I chose them was because of David Riggin. He explained everything in detail, and I was kind of shortcutting it. There were kids in the neighborhood that shot bebes through the windows, so I just wanted my window fixed, and I didn't want to hear a bunch of stuff. However, David made me have an appreciation about my windows.
Very good customer service. Poor installation and quality of product.
Came at time promised. Replaced a 30 year old door and frame. Big improvement in appearance and function. Whole appearance of cellar door modernized.
I have already bragged about Long Windows to my family and friends.
Already have recommended to a few of my neighbors.Sighting the warranty as my deciding factor.
See question 15.
I most certainly would
Eryn came in and walked into a situation that she handled very well. My daughter was very sick with cancer. Eryn made sure that she was included in my decision. I think I probably kept her longer than she stays at others. She was very outgoing and easy to talk to. She explained everything to me. I replaced the windows 12 years ago and they didn't hold up. They wouldn't back their warranty. I was assured that the warranty would last for me and the next person that lives at my house. There have been cold nights already and it has been pleasant to sit in the living room. I open the window in my bedroom at night. The guys that did the work were so professional, quick, knew their jobs, and went straight to it. I could tell that they knew what they were doing. It's an old house. They made sure the windows fit just right with no gaps. I am overly happy.
Every thing went smooth with the installation. Installation team came right on time. Doors look and work fantastic!!
Wow! This is the third time I have worked with Long Home Products. It has been easy and seamless, and the product is good. The screen door does not lock, but I didn't call anyone to tell them.
The company that did the work was courteous, on time, and professional.
I had an excellent experience.
Long Home Products are way too expensive, especially for senior citizens on a fixed income.
I will wait to answer to see how long it takes them fix problem on a windows
I was satisfied with the work done and that it was done promptly.
I'm completely satisfied. The windows are working perfectly.
I highly recommend Long Home Products because the staff is knowledgeable, they listen to the customer, provide feedback and troubleshoot issues when they arise. Plus the quality of the products can’t be beat!
I was expecting a follow-up visit to see that the work was done properly, but that did not happen. They followed up with me after I had my roof done. I was contacted in April and told the job would be done in May or June, but it was not done until August. No one contacted me during the delay; I had to reach out to them. They said there was a delay because of one of their suppliers, which I don't totally believe.
Jeffrey, the product specialist, was very courteous and informative. He was not pushy.
I am pleased with the customer service—great customer service—and I am happy with what was done with the caulking.
I'm not sure because I was told that the windows would take 3 weeks to be made and a few days to install. It took months and I had to call get an update.
They are very efficient. The project was done very well. They cleaned up after themselves. The work was good.
I would highly recommend these windows. The air temperature inside stays consistent. No more leaking air. Installation was quick and was able to inspect and they fixed anything I asked for
I liked Curtis who measured my windows and the crew who came in to install that rest not so much
I was very pleased with the services provided.
They promised me a door to my specifications, but they delivered the wrong door and window.
We are pleased with the doors and windows Long installed.
The service was professional and quick.
After 2 months had passed, I reach out to Long Home Products and was told the supplier had a warehouse fire which resulted in a delay of about 4-8 weeks. This should have been communicated to us.
