On 11/18/2020 I contacted Mid-America exteriors to install French doors off the family room onto the patio. I planned to later build a pergola on the patio. I explained this vision to Mr. Quade. I showed him the 60 by 60 window that I wanted replaced by the French doors. The window sat on a brick ledge 20in high. He said that it would be a problem to install French doors there due to the brick ledge. He told me that a sliding window would be a better option. I trusted that this suggestion would work and ordered the window. The window was installed 4 months later on March 19th 2021. The company sent one person to install the window which I refused. After talking to the owner about the concern the following week they sent two workers to install the window. Now I have a window that will slide open but will not open on the alternate side. I feel Mr. Quade did not put in any effort to listen to what I needed or wanted. The handyman I hired to build my pergola stated that MAE definitely could have installed French doors but the project probably would not be profitable enough for them. He stated they don't like to do small projects due to less profit.

They came out and explained in detail all of the options and laid them out for me, and I'm glad I chose them in the end.

I've used Mid America Exteriors for three door/window jobs now. I've been consistently pleased with their prices, their products, and their services. Working with them is straightforward and uncomplicated.

My jobs were handled professionally, and very competently. I appreciated that they made some improvements on my house that were originally done by another company that went out of business. My goal was do things as economically as possible. They were already agreeable to this and made me a priority. They found another problem along the way and took care of that as well.

Additional Comments - Excellent installers of windows and doors. Siding crew was very good too. Sunrise windows and Provia doors are a great addition to our home. Considerably quieter and more comfortable now. Not the cheapest, but the best features and quality for our money. Appearance of our home has been improved greatly. Like having a new home at the same address. Extremely pleased with salesman, scheduler and installers as well as the products. Challenging job on a 100 year old house.

Jake Walters was able to do all the necessary paperwork, and talk to the right people to get my house repaired from a hail storm. Where other companies failed, Jake and Mid-America came through.

Additional Comments - We've used them twice, to side our house and for the gutters. Then we had a hailstorm come through and we used them again. They were great both times. The way Kyle presented how they did their work and everything, his presentation, is what made us choose Mid-America. We had contacted two other companies and Kyle was the only one who brought out photos and explained each stage of the process. And the installers they use were really good. We got a lot of positive comments from people in the neighborhood.

They don't care about you after the order. The first time I ordered they wanted me to call the installer. That is not my job. It is not up to me. We then scheduled an appointment and then they did not show up. They were piss poor and very unprofessional. I am satisfied with the windows but I think that they are too expensive.

They offered exceptional service, especially the service after the sale. This is one of the main reasons we continue to use them and refer them to others.

We shopped around and waited for a long time before doing this project. We were very happy we went with Mid-America. We have been very pleased with both the quality of workmanship, the time it took to implement everything, and their ability to work with us to make everything possible. The whole experience was a very positive one.

Things were very positive. They treated me with respect. They always contacted me. They worked steady and got things done. I've had many compliments since they finished.
