All in all, I would recommend MDR. Mike was great.
They did a pretty good job.
MDR team was great and was adaptive to our time since everything was happening because of the Covid-19 pandemic. There work was AWESOME and I would use them for other projects in our home.
MDR Construction Services LLC is remarkable. I was very impressed. I am looking forward to them getting the job done, and I know that it will be fast.
They did superbly but they have to come back out once the virus is over. Otherwise, they did perfectly. They need to take care of one other part.
They worked with the materials that they were given by the insurance. I think the person that was in charge when I mentioned that I wanted to upgrade, quickly let me know that is what the insurance would approve. He never said I will go back and tell them you want to upgrade. His name was Clay, I think there could be more help from whoever is in charge. They covered some wallpaper in one room and it took two weeks to do that. They said the wallpaper was old and couldn't be replaced.
I was very pleased and satisfied with MDR.
The floor is turning yellow where it was glued together. It has only been down a few months I can only imagine how it will look in a year or so...Think I will call the insurance company and let them know
They were excellent and I would use them again in the future.
I love the builder. Clay was very good he listens well and has great customer service.
We are extremely satisfied with their service. Michael orchestrated everything really well. He also had overall really good spirits and was very professional.
MDR did a great job of repairing flooring. My only complaint is they did not properly clean the wood dust from the house as discussed.
excellent company, walked us through the entire process and was a pleasure to work with all members of the crew. would use them in the future as needed.
John, the foreman on the job was so nice.
They did a wonderful job and I approved it all.
I was totally pleased with the service of the whole team. They were totally professional.
They offer great service. They communicated well. Everyone that I spoke with at their company was great.
Clay did an excellent job in collaborating with me. He provided guidance and explanations where my knowledge was lacking. He exercised a great deal of patience throughout the project, selected items with care and incite. I was very satisfied with the result.
Professional and complete effort. Always available to answer questions.
As far as construction is concerned, everything was great expect for the timing.
Michael and all of them, including the owners, had one problem but they took care of it and it was all handled professionally.
I appreciate Jason and I believe he did the best he could, but I think he was in over his head. He told me he had a lot to do and he didn't know how he would be able to get it all done.
The work they did for me was good.
We had an issue one of our kitchen counters was broken. I am not sure who is at fault. They told us it would be replaced but it was not. The original was just glued back together. We did not get the truth.
As a retired adjuster with years of experience with program contractors, I can give high marks for MDR as a contractor that one can trust and depend on. The entire process was smooth and went as planned. Based on past experience I didn't expect this to be perfect for we live in an imperfect world but I can't find anything that did not go as planned. My tenants never had a complaint or concern and that meant a lot to me. I can highly recommend MDR
Clay Mitchell was excellent. He was great to work with. Explained everything. Kept me up to date on all dealings with the insurance company. He also followed up in a timely fashion regarding the work that was being completed art my house. Would and have definitely recommend Clay and MDR Construction.Lynnette
My experience with this contractor was a worse experience than the fire itself.
They were outstanding to work with and got the job done sooner than expected.
Workers were not on time, had no sense of urgency or respect of our time. They cut several corners that had to be continually addressed.
They were very prompt and professional.
We were very pleased with the service. I am impressed with all of the contractors they used. They worked on Sundays to finish loose ends, etc.
They were great. They were great to work with, they were kind, and they took good care of us.
Clay seemed to struggle throughout the process with personal integrity. During our walk through he stated (without provocation) a three layered chimney would replace the old one. A two layered chimney was installed without explanation. I later learned a three layered chimney was actually unnecessary. He had also stated a firewall would be installed between the chimney and bedroom. This was also overlooked without explanation. After being confronted, Clay did not deny making this statement, he simply stated that the insurance company would not pay for such a wall. He then personally called the adjuster to argue why it was not needed. This firewall was important for my family to feel safe after the fire that had occured, and we felt very betrayed and confused by his behavior. Why would he have stated installing an extra layer of drywall was "easily done" and "would not be a problem" and then try and sabatoge it? This was a confusing turn of events. After a very brief conversation with the adjuster myself, it was concluded that this could easily be funded. And it was. At this juncture I decided to seek outside help with other projects rather than use MDR. The project overall ended with an overloaded dumpster in the driveway, one that the dumpster rental company refused to take until the problem was remedied. Clay refused to participate in solving this problem, insisting that it was not his fault the dumpster was overloaded! He claimed that since the dumpster had been used by other people, for other projects (and it had) it wasn't his fault. Even though he admitted to personally overloading the dumpster himself on a last minute project that had not been factored in when deciding the size of the dumpster (which he himself had originally chosen: being head contractor on the site). This contradiction nonetheless was clearly lost on him. He did agree to help unload some of the dumpster if I were to personally call the adjuster, fund a new dumpster, and have it delivered. This was all accomplished, and a day and time was scheduled to move excess refuse to the new dumpster. Clay did not call, or show up. I have not spoken with him since.
They did a great job!
MDR, for me, was the best in terms of quality of work that was done.
Everything was fine with me. They did a good job.
My experience with MDR Construction was very goog. They came in, took over and made me feel so much better about all the damage that had been done. I really appreciate what they did.
don't walk RUN!!!
