The quality of homes produced by McCall homes is exceptional. Jay was very knowledgeable when answering all my questions and helped make this process easy for me.

I love the community, very cute and friendly. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the narrow streets when there are parked cars on both sides. Would be nice if there were more places to park so people didn’t have to use the street.

Overall has been a great home and there are a few minor quips I have, otherwise great quality and it's a home that is designed for living in Montana.

They are not great with agreements. I spent 11 months asking them to come fix something.

The closing is tomorrow, and they need to do some finishing and repairs. We went on a walk-through, and things were not done, so I was kind of disappointed about that. I wouldn't strongly recommend them to anyone.

Great product for the price and follow up was good.

We have had so many problems with our new house. The third month we were in this house water was leaking from our dining room ceiling. We had to cancel a family vacation because of it.
McCall homes has very poor Quality control

Unfortunately, I feel unsure about recommending a friend to work with McCall Homes. The experience i had has not been anything close to what was portrayed. I feel like i was taken advantage of to a certain extent in the build process and no have to deal with the consequences with my completed home. Across town i have heard very negative reviews from several people. When we told people who were building with it was rare that i didn’t hear negative comments about the builds and contractors that are hired. Things have gotten better recently but it doesn’t repair the experience overall.

The team at McCall Homes is exceptional. They were wonderful to work with throughout this process and we’re getting such a high quality home that’s not going to break the bank. We highly recommend McCall Homes!

I think the company as a whole is a good one and they try very hard to do the right thing, which was a huge plus - you don’t see a lot of companies that care like McCall’s do. I think the warranty work is a sore spot for a lot of homeowners because it was expected that things were done right the first time and then the extended wait for repairs to take place needs to be improved substantially. I hear that’s on the right track now as well. I think homebuyers would appreciate you slowing down a little to make sure things get done right the first time and the subs you hire have the time to do their jobs right without feeling rushed.

They were mostly slow to respond to warranty requests.

Additional Comments - They were very accommodating when we had a little bit of a glitch in our financing to work through. They were very patient with us. They are very patient and accommodating. We bought a premium lot and when we were not able to get the financing in place, they did not pull it out from under us, they let us wait a few months to get everything in place. i appreciated that.

McCall was easy to work with. Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly. The build quality is exceptional, and the finishes are in great shape. We are so excited to be moved into our new home.

I spoke with an electrician last week and he asked how my experience has been with McCall and said not good. He said that is what he has heard. I told him I would be unlikely to recommend a new build to a friend.

I moved into the neighborhood May 2023. Overall I am happy with my home however I've had some frustrations along the way. The design meeting was great and made me excited for the process. As it got closer to moving in, I started noticing issues. For starters, the day my carpet got installed I was excited to check it out, only to find the upstairs windows were left wide open and it was down poring outside. That was frustrating and irresponsible. I was assured there was no water damage but it will always be in the back of my mind regarding mold issues in the future. Friends and family strongly recommended me completing a walk-through prior to closing to address any issues however they pushed to do it after closing reassuring me if anything was wrong I would be covered under warranty. After I closed, I noticed my doors weren't painted like I paid for, fireplace had a gas leak, screened-in porch was not done correctly and they did not have a mailbox ready for me. After two months of driving downtown to the post office requesting a mail key, they made me reach out to the HOA as there was not enough boxes in Annafeld for my mail. Shouldn’t they have arranged this during the 10 months of the building process? It took two months before I finally got a mailbox and key. It's going on 3 months and I'm still waiting for door handles for my outside patio. I've also reached out to the builder multiple times regarding the patio not being completed correctly and he will not respond to me anymore. It's clear the moment you close you are no longer a priority. I also don't understand how I moved into an unpainted house, no landscaping but the house down the street which does not close for 2 months is already painted. I understand a new build will not be perfect or run 100% smooth but I feel if there was better communication the process would have been better.

I am so happy I tell all my friends to come to Annafeld!

So far I have had a very positive experience with McCall homes.

The overall build process was extremely streamlined and easy to navigate. Also really enjoy the neighborhood and how close everyone is.

Chose the Pryor version, it will be built in 60 days, the concept and layout of Annafeld has a good feel to it. This will be a take off from Josephines Crossing we hope. We like the signage and street corners, it has a classic charm to it! Anxious to see how the park system turns out!

I was sold on the family business/attention to detail theme, but disappointed by the lack of concern/communication after I closed on the house. I felt like they got my money and moved on to the next customer. There were a lot of problems (air conditioner, fireplace, shower head, garage door, landscaping, poor craftsmanship outside) that I had to contact them about; they were very slow to respond and ensure that other contractors followed up. Fine craftmanship inside and quality fixtures are the only thing I'd recommend.

Concern For Needs - Jay was incredibly helpful and thorough with us! We had about a million questions and Jay was never annoyed. In fact, each time we spoke to him he seemed incredibly excited for us! He spent time with us showing us different homes and had impeccable knowledge of estimated pricing for upgrades. Any time we had a question about a different home Jay was on top of sending us layouts, etc.

Design Center & Selections

Design Center & Selections - Abby and Taylor are seriously the sweetest, most down-to-earth, kind women!! We are very particular about our style and they listened to every word we said. We live pretty far away and we were able to complete calls over Zoom (so helpful)! When we physically went into the showroom everything was laid out for us to see and selections were fast and easy. You can tell both Abby and Taylor are extremely passionate about their jobs. You can truly tell they are so excited for you as the client and will do all they can to help you make your dreams come true.

Options - I am blown away by how many choices we were able to have for our new home! Anything and everything you could ever want are literally available!

Throughout the process, what my wife and I noticed most about Tim was, he was very proactive. He let us know about a couple things that had already been fixed/ replaced and we didn’t even have to ask. Anything we did ask for was taken care of and we only had to ask once. I’ve talked to other homeowners in other subdivisions in town that had to chase down their supers or had to ask for something several times with nothing getting done the way they want it, so McCall has been a breath of fresh air to work with. Tim McCurdy is very sharp and I would recommend him to anyone.
