Efficient and thorough. They replaced water damaged floor with LVP. The floor, trim, and damaged wall were all completed beautifully. Steve, did a great job coordinating all the subs so that we were out of our home under 2 weeks. He understood how to deal with a very difficult insurance adjuster which for us was extremely frustrating. For Steve this was normal. We love our new floors so much better than our old bamboo floors. They are beautiful and durable. The tile in the laundry room is gorgeous!
Cecil was our project manager, and he is the best of the best. He made sure he communicated with us throughout the entire process. He answered any questions that we had. I had a lot of questions. He was so patient. Overall, based on the level of care we were given, we love the outcome of our bathroom. We couldn't ask for anything better. It exceeded my expectations.
They provided prompt service and were easy to reach during the process.
Response and repair was extremely slow. We lived with our toilet sitting in our living room for almost 6 months. Work never got done to completion in a timely manner. If a contractor had to finish the job, they would schedule for sometimes weeks at a time to return and complete it. They kept saying the project manager had to schedule them, we would have been better off hiring our own contractor to get the work done. I would never recommend Maxcare to do anything ever again.
MaxCARE was professional. They came to us as quickly as they could, and they did a very professional job. They handled our home the way professionals should. Because it was an emergency situation, we just left our home. When we came back, we found everything in tact. They were good people who worked hard for us.
Some of the work they did was very good and most of the employees did a good job with care. Unfortunately the painter James that did the majority of the work was very difficult. There were staples left in the trim and painted over, a section of the paint was applied to heavily and rippled, the incorrect material was used for the downspout and it was installed all the way to the ground so there was no room to attach a diversion hose. When we questioned his work he became defensive, then argumentative, refusing to fix or that responsibility for any of the mistakes. He finally left without completing the work, called his supervisor and said we hurt his feelings. It was a struggle to get the work completed properly. If you use them make sure to document everything. Every verbal conversation should be communicated back to them via email, reiterating each task they agreed to complete.
I wouldn't recommend MaxCARE to anyone for anything.
The repair work was very good but the time it took to perform the repair was extremely long. It took about 6 months to make the repair and another 6 six months to settle the claim cost.
Everyone was very kind and transparent. Amber was very helpful and was in contact with me to see how everything was going with my claim.
Our kitchen flooded and our insurance set us up with MaxCare. There were a few delays but our contractor Ed was very communicative through the whole ordeal. As far as emergency remodels go I highly recommend Ed and MaxCare as a whole.
MaxCARE is a very professional company that works with its customers in a positive manner.
Overall I am satisfied with MaxCARE. They came out and they were responsive. They took care of the things they were supposed to do.
Not great customer service and the quality of the work is subpar, not good. I would not recommend them to anyone.
They are efficient, communicative, always friendly, and they kept us informed at all times.
MaxCare was like a godsent they were there when I needed them. the subcontractors were not so
It took 5 months for them to complete a total of 3 weeks of work and a lot the work was subpar. I would never recommend this company.
Sorry, but not a good experience
The only reason I didn't give a 4 is that they could have covered up more during the demolition so that it wasn't so dirty everywhere. I had tile removed, and the grout gets in every corner of everywhere. They could have covered more during demolition to keep the dirt down.
Communication was bad. From demolition at the start and from the drywall to the flooring, we got no communication what so ever. Flooring was the worst part of it.
Be very careful who you get as a project manager.
