Once we added steps to our newly installed patio door which replaced a set of windows, we noticed the height of the threshold was much higher than any other door we have seen. The threshold height caused a 3” inch step over which we consider a “trip hazard”. When we called Mad City, they sent the project manager over to take a look at the door. He indicated they could reinstall the door but we would only gain ¾” on the step over. We expressed our concern over the threshold height and shared that it was never revealed to us at the time of our order and therefore we were caught by surprise.

After speaking with the project manager, on the morning of Thursday, May 23, we reached out to our sales manager and indicate we had a concern with the door. He indicated he would get back to us later in the day. Needless to say, we have not heard back from him.

At this point, I believe we are “stuck” with the door, but just want others to be aware and ask the company to be more transparent and provide pertinent information on specifications to their potential customers so that they can make the best decisions for their needs.

The trim pieces are falling off. The vinyl wrap is loose in some places. We like the appearance in the cabinets and drawers. It is still other issues that prevent some from given a higher score.

The installation of our walk-in shower was impressive, fast and very well done.

They were very helpful and courteous.

The people I came in contact with were kind, helpful, wanted to give me a good , beautiful new shower. they knew what they were doing and worked well and hard and speedily.

They were efficient, fast, and friendly. They knew what they were doing. It was bing, bang, boom! They were there, got to work, and did an excellent job.

A good job was done installing my tub.
