We are very sorry that you had a home fire that also resulted in significant water damage to your belongings. When we arrived, everything was soaked and covered in wet insulation. In order to prevent mold, we had to pick up everything immediately and clean and dry it. We communicated that to you before we took your items away. After we cleaned and dried your belongings, it made sense for us to press and package them as well. Within 48 hours, we had completed 90% of your clothing and 50% of your soft goods - an impressive turnaround time. We were in regular communication with you and the adjuster throughout the process. In the end, you opted to be paid to replace your belongings, and we negotiated a deep discount in good faith with the insurance company. We hope that you are satisfied with the results. Our goal on every job is to restore your cherished belongings to pre-loss condition and to help make a stressful, life-interrupting event a little less so.
