The installation crew made two major changes to the order without approval or discussion with us, the client. My daughter had said she absolutely did not want holes in the stone on the front of the house. They put some in anyway, after telling us they might have to make some adjustments, but no specifics were ever mentioned.. There was supposed to be an additional downspout on the back of the house, but they combined it with another and did not put an extra one in the back. We were never asked for our input or approval or either change. We feel that the crew should have been told by the management not to make major changes without the express approval of the client. We like the LeafGuard gutters, but feel there was a lack of communication all the way around. This is a huge expense and this just left a sour taste over the whole experience.

We had to do a lot of extra work because of Rottenwood under the old letters.

Overall we have been pleased with our new gutters, They seem to be doing their job effectively. We noted that during a recent heavy rain, the new gutter outside our porch did not result in a waterfall as we had previously seen with our old, clogged gutter. We just have one bone to pick. When the salesman gave us a quote, he included a splashstone to be installed below one of the downspouts. We pointed this out to the installer and they looked over the contract and agreed that the splashstone should have been included. The foreman said that he would bring over a splashstone in the next few days and put it under the downspout. When the splash stone was not brought after two weeks, I called the LeafGuard company and left a message that the splashstone had not been brought. We never received a call back about this issue.

LeafGuard is costly. I considered them along with one of their primary competitors. Both explained why their product is the best and talked down the other guy's product. What sold me on LeafGuard was the way they wrap your facia board. Helps prevent or at least retard board rot. I checked my flow during a good rain. All good except in one inset corner of my roof where the water was coming down the roof too fast and at too high of a volume to make the turn into the gutter.

The estimate for the work was complete and met our requirements, plus we were able to get a promotional discount. We had multiple color options which worked well with the features of our house. Everything about this project met our expectations without any issues.

No, because my leaf filter system over flows the gutters and down spouts during hard rains, and I was guaranteed that this would not happen.

The installation was excellent. I like the product very much; I can tell a big difference. There were some things that really annoyed me. They said the presentation would be 90 minutes, but it took 3 hours. I was sold from the beginning by the advertisement, but it took too long. The second is that I have a utility closet, and I cannot open the door. If I open the door, it will ruin the gutters. They could not remove the hinges because they did not have the tools. I still cannot open the closet, and it has been 3 months. I had to buy a new weed eater and lawn mower because I could not access them. At the end of the second day, I just told them to leave because it was taking too long for them to figure it out.

Expensive and no customer service to address issues with the work.

I will not recommend LeafGuard until they refund the $174 for the drain they took.

We have used leafguard twice before when we lived in NC. We thought it was a great product. This time was a disaster! Installation was a nightmare. Rotten wood left of house and the next day while we were looking at the gutters (they look nice) the wood just fell down! Had to call carpenter. Very disappointed.

Two workers came. One did not speak English. The workers were supposed to have my paperwork with them. They didn’t seem to understand what I needed. I had been assured by the salesman that I would get a copy of all the paperwork. I need the paperwork in case of any problems. I have no proof of the warranty.
