State Farm referred us, so we had no other choice but to use them. They are friendly and professional, but services, expertise, and craftsmanship, were lacking. Remember to read between the lines, very hidden agenda. The job took longer than it should have, and we had to fight for what was ours. Services were paid for and not delivered, per contract.
They showed up on time and worked in a timely manner without being in the way. They were professional and returned my calls in a timely fashion. I have no complaints.
With Leads Construction Company itself, I had pretty much no problem. Brian, whom I dealt with whenever I had a question or called him, was right there on the spot or called me back. The project manager was the same way. Dealing with those two individuals was pretty good. It was the people they hired.
They are a very professional and organized company and provide great follow through.
We had some difficulties.
They were great to work with and took care of everything with our insurance. They provided the supplement work, and the workers were respectful of our property.
They are dependable in showing up on time. The communication was terrible.
We had a small fire in our master bathroom. Leads Construction handled everything from demo to rebuild. We could not be happier with Leads. Everyone was helpful and professional!
I recommend them to everyone.
I was quite pleased with the final results.
They were very professional. I always had Joe and Mark. They always kept in touch with me. I would even stop by to look at the process. They would explain everything to me. The employees would do the same. They were all very helpful and professional. I would hire them again for another job in my home.
Leads construction was the least responsive and cheapest firm I’ve ever worked with. We had a 5.5 months project they went 3 months over on. Zach H and Joe L wouldn’t return my insurance agents calls let alone mine. They tried at every step to use inferior products as opposed to trying to return our home to how it was. It was a constant battle and we even vacated our home for 4 months for them and they did almost nothing. I would avoid at all cost. They are non union and showed a shocking lack of diversity.
I was very pleased with the work they did!
Leads Construction Company is a high quality company.
They did beautiful work. There were here when it happened. State Farm was here the next day. They did a wonderful job. They sent two guys to do the work, and they did an absolutely beautiful job.
Overall not bad but as an insurance claimant you need to be more hands on than what I was, I figured since I allowed Allstate to handle the coordination for the most part I would have minimal activity is this endeavor.
I was very pleased with the quality product they gave me.
All around it was a very good experience, I was actually surprised. The work was really high quality, and done really well and really fast.
I was 6 months into being a widow when my house had electrical fire. I have a limited knowledge of electrical, construction, plumbing. After the discovery process finished, repair estimate was approved, Leads jumped right in to obtain permits, began work, fast tracked inspections as winter in Chicago was approaching. When another company damaged my wooden floors during pack out, Leads reported and expedited replacement on top of original work order. The project manager assigned had such a professional demeanor, he was superb. My emails and calls to the Leads team were answered promptly and effectively. I strongly recommend Leads Construction, they treat you like family! Thank you.
There was a complete lack of responsibility, communication and follow up. I would not recommend this contractor.
Leads construction was professional , addressing repair and timeliness on delivery. Respectful and courteous.
We will definitely use them again.
They were professional, quick, and they came when my schedule needed. They were able to work on my schedule.
Leads Construction Company is unprofessional.
I don't believe the crew were professional. They did the work in the wrong order, then had to redo it.
I was very impressed that they showed up when they were supposed to, the quality of work was outstanding and they got it done in 2 weeks. They did an outstanding job. I put out a thing on Yelp that Derrick and Tom were absolutely outstanding to work with.
Steve explained the repair/construction process from beginning to end to follow-up. He was very helpful, especially since this was the first time I'd ever filed a homeowner's insurance claim.
I was very satisfied with their work.
This company is great. Everything they said they would do, they did, every time they said they'd be at my house, they were there. Very professional, very friendly, overall great company.
We had a superior experience! They are very professional!
They did a great job. I couldn't have asked for more.
We worked with Steve. They were considerate, did what they said, and held to their timeframe within their control.
They did a great job, and they were very friendly! I was very pleased with the work.
I have no complaints about their work. If I had to call or recommend someone ,it would be them. They did a fantastic and beautiful job.
Great job.
Leads Construction Company did what they said they were going to do. The work was done very satisfactorily.
The professionalism of the company shows thru their excellent workmanship.
Good quality, average price, terrible duration of the project. Poor project management or available laborers. We are happy with the final project but 6 months for any type of bathroom remodel is beyond acceptable.
Great and excellent work on time
The general contractor did not communicate well. What should of been a 3 week project took 7 months. This has been the most horrific experience I have ever had dealing with a contractor.
I really enjoyed the fact offered some ideas. Instead of putting regular window and car crashed and suggested a sturdier window. THey were very information and good at there job.
They completely understood what needed to be done and how to get it worked with a minimal of disruption. The quality of the workmanship and their employees was outstanding and far exceeded what we expected. I would not hesitate to use their services again in the future if an opportunity ever presented itself
Leads Construction Company does good work, however some of their workers are not to experienced as they should be to my knowledge. I would recommended them to definitely do some screening before they hire. The guy who put my boiler in didn't do it right and he says the thermostat is probably a default. I'm freezing.
Contract to perform work was sign on 3/14/2016. Work didn't begin til 5/23 and completed by 7/18. Promised 1-2 weeks on the contract. Workers also damaged vertical curtains (never replaced) and cracked bathroom floor without telling the owner.
John Lipkey was respondent to our needs in a very professionally manner.
I have been in my house for about six months since Leads finished rebuilding it and there have been many issues with things breaking, cracking and not being done properly. The response time is horrible, I am currently waiting to hear back from John about an issue that is well over 2 months old and he has not called me back to give me at least an update on when the repairs will be made. Our main person Bob was handling the project was no longer with the company as soon as we signed the papers to release the final payments. No one at Leads contacted me to tell me he was gone and it wasn't until I contacted my insurance to let them know of the unresponsiveness that I was informed of his departure. I was told that if anything was done unsatisfactorily or broken we were guaranteed they would fix the problem but all I have received is story after story about how busy they are and they are waiting on the right piece/equipment to come in before they can fix my issue. The "sealant/caulk" (not sure of what it is called) between the kitchen and bathroom sinks is cracking. Two of the ceiling fans rattle when turned on, and one of them actually shakes back and forth when the fan is turned on and it looks like it is going to fall. There are sockets with paint splatters on it. The white ceiling has paint from the side walls that flow over. The transition trim between the tile and hardwood floor doesn't match the hardwood color and looks unprofessional. I asked for cabinets that go to the ceiling but didn't get them or an explanation of why not. The closet doors have fallen out of their hinges a few times. They placed a cheap shower caddy in the corner of my tub because they didn't put soap dishes or curtain rod holders in before installing the tile. And one of my last biggest issue is that the AC Unit is not cooling off the house even. I have been running my AC all day and it is still hot in the house and we did not have this problem before the fire.
The people that worked on my project were very professional.
They were very cooperative. They took care of the problem that was the workmanship of another company. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with them.
All of the work was professionally done with special care taken around housekeeping details. We are considering future renovation work and are hopeful that we can again use their services. While all of the work was outstanding the painting and patch work done was specially exceptional and far exceeded anything we had hoped for.
The only thing was that we had a problem with the driveway. The dumpster was there and they put a crack in the driveway. We had trouble getting somebody to do the work on the driveway. Joel was here with someone else from Leads and said, "Why don't I get my own company to patch it up?" From there on, they didn't patch it too good, but it wasn't their fault. I was paid for the driveway repair.
