Wow, what a pleasant experience to hire a company to do a project for you and the experience goes far better than you could ever expect. I say this because Lance roofing and Siding resided our home and did a superior job, not just with the actual siding but with all fazes of the process. When I called to make an appointment to come out to give an estimate it was soon, on time, and the representative was patient and thorough in answering any questions I had in addition to explaining what the process would be like. Soon afterwards we received a packet in the mail from them explaining everything from beginning to end along with a quote for the cost of the project. We were wise to have another company to come to give an estimate that was a popular one that advertises on TV what they offered as far as communication about what they would do was similar to Lance's but no where as thorough and complete as Lance's. And their estimate was several thousand dollars more the same work!

Martin and his crew did an excellent job in replacing my cement siding. They completed the job in a timely manner and were very professional. Scott Shepherd managed the job. He kept me informed about the progress and answered all my concerns. I would highly recommend Lance Roofing and Siding.

My job was to replace cedar siding with Hardiplank as well as the trim, new gutters and downspouts and front porch railing. The salesman was nice and gave a good quote, however, he ordered the wrong size siding which then had to be reordered, and ordered the wrong size wraps for my front porch. The siding installers (father and son team) only worked 6 hours a day and my job was 14 weeks from start to finish, when it should've been only 3 weeks. Only when I was extremely frustrated and at my wits end did they bring on another team to help with the little bit that was left to finish. On more than one occasion, the installers ran short of materials needed for the job and had to wait for them to be delivered. The gutter crew did a sloppy job and the fascia boards had to be replaced because they were crooked. One of them chain smoked and left cigarette butts all over my yard. When all was said and done, I like the look of the hardi plank on my house, and the installers did a nice job with it, but my opinion of Lance roofing and siding, as a whole, is very low. And, to this day, I'm still finding nails.

Additional Comments - We have had them 3 times and they have always been professional.

To begin with, Dan worked hard with us before any work was done on the house to get an understanding of what we wanted in the job and what he felt was needed to do the job right. He recommended some enhancements to make the house more complete (some accent pieces were completely left out during original construction), after the job was done. He also recommended a larger size gutter in one section to carry more water away from the house and prevent leaking into the garage. Finally, he took pictures of the house and highlighted all the areas for specific work and then gave us a "very detailed" contract showing everything/all the work that was agree upon to be done. The work crew was friendly, professional and very competent in their work. When I had a question, they answered it to my satisfaction and I felt very comfortable with then throughout the entire process. I would definitely refer Lance to a friend or relative. I am completely satisfied with the work Lance Roofing and Siding did for me.
