Overall I felt like LA Decks did a good job with my deck. Some of the expectations I had were not met, but I think LA Decks is probably one of the better and more reliable contractors that I have worked with over the years. For the price, I thought that the fit and finish could be a bit tighter, but any concerns or issues that I mentioned they did address - just had to be a bit patient and persistent with checking in with them.

Some minor things like paint/stain of deck railing that were offered by the sales rep. as included in the price, later had to be added to the contract cost when that offer was rejected by the corporate manager. Sales rep. responsible for collecting payment and corporate were not in synch about which payment milestones had been met or how much payment had been collected. In the end, the build quality, build process, project schedule were all very satisfactory.

Pricing was good, work was great and they went the extra mile on the planter we requested.

We had been debating replacing our deck for the last year and a half. We originally asked a couple of deck builders to come out to provide an estimate and LA Decks was one. Noa came out and provided the different options, etc. we ultimately decided to hold off. Fast forward a year later and we wanted to move forward. Again we reached out to 3 deck builders and ultimately chose LA Decks. And the experience was wonderful from beginning to end.1) Cost: to begin with, they were priced much more competitively than the other two. Not only in absolute terms but also given the fact that they were going to completely redo the sub-structure below the deck. The others quoted a higher price but noted that it assumed they would not need to do much work below the deck. I highlighted this to LA Decks and they said that they prefer to be conservative and that if the structure below is ok, they will credit me. And sure enough, it is exactly what they did.2) Professional: Noa, Victor and their team of workers were incredibly professional and patient. I always had a pleasant experience interacting with them. Even when I asked them to come out a second time to bid again for the project, Noa took the time to mention two other deck companies that do a great job (one of which I happened to be speaking to as well) if I was looking for multiple bids. That tells me they are all about the customer and confident about their own product. I interacted with all the workers that came on site, and they were very courteous, neat and nice. Even when there was one minor mishap, the response by LA Decks was great.3) Finished Product: my wife and I are very happy with the deck we chose (with Noa's help). The lines are clean, the gaps are consistent, framing around the pool is a great touch, etc. and most importantly, I feel that I can reach out to them with any issues or asks that may arise in the future concerning the deck and they would accommodate as best they can.Obviously, I highly recommend LA Decks after this experience. Always good to do your diligence, but I would be very surprised if you didn't end up moving forward with Noa and Victor.

They were definitely helpful throughout the entire process. They communicated the whole time well. Through the entire thing, they never kept us in the dark. They kept us in the loop with everything, and they were very helpful with everything.
