I don't think I will recommend their service. They said they were going to do something and they still haven't completed it. They still haven't reached out to me. I still have mold in my basement. I was supposed to get a follow-up call, and we haven't heard back.
The sellers from Jenkins Enterprises were pretty good and responsive. One thing I would say is that all parties including the subcontractors should use the phone rather than a text. Most of the communication for me came before the text, and I don't like that the text is used. They shouldn't use text for lots of reasons, and the mode is not good for project management. We got the project done, and I am reasonably satisfied with the result, but the process was difficult. Jenkins itself didn't have any employees, and everything was subcontracted for the glass and paint etc. which is okay, but there wasn't very good communication between the subcontractors. For example, I would get a text, saying hi someone (say Bobby) will be over to do painting tomorrow. But Bobby isn't the person who came, it was someone else, and maybe he didn't get the full information about what to do. If using subcontractors, they need to do a better job of informing them of what the project is with the subcontractors.
They work itself was good, but they did some damage, and they tried to get out of fixing it. That was my issue with them. If they had taken care of it, and corrected it by themselves, I would have given a 5-star rating, but I had to chase them down. One of the contractors, nearly burned down my house. I called the fire department, and they tried to say it wasn't them. The fire department said they connected the wires wrong. Jenkins |came back after I threatened to take them to court. The work was good, but one of the contractors who came in to do the electrical work, sparked a fire. They should have just came and fixed it. There was also damage to a vent on the outside of the house, and they didn't want to fix that. I had to chase them around for about 10 days, after calling and harassing them. They tried to fix it with a broken one, and I refused to sign the paperwork. If that had not happened, I would have given 5 stars.
The only concern I had with Jenkins Enterprises was they were not prompt.
Jenkins did an outstanding job at my home. They were very professional and courteous. They explained the work before starting and completed the job as promised. I would highly recommend to my friends and family. Great Job!!
