Additional Comments - Art Kulch is a man of his word, problem solver and creative. We love our new kitchen and living room cabinets. As previously stated the gap in the schedule at the end was our only concern. A simple explanation from JDI would have cleared that problem - we both at our end have been in business for many years and know score. Thank You Art

Areas For Improvement - They fell short with the quality control of the cabinetry. That is the only issue I had, but they made everything right in the end.

Additional Comments - They did a really good job as far as getting everything done on time, and on budget. Overall, I'm really happy with the final product, and how they turned out. The communication between me and Eric, the project manager, was really good, and they communicate really well. Any issues I had, they addressed it, and made it right.

Without a doubt or hesitancy. I completely trust JDI team!

Clean

Clean - Everyday they cleaned up and wore shoe covers or removed their shoes during finishing work. The job site was completely cleaned and a deep interior clean was also done. Amazing!

Communication

Communication - The team would send me pictures and texts everyday with updates and what work would get done that day.

Quality Of Materials

Quality Of Materials - Great custom walnut cabinets. Dove tail joints. Soft close everything. If it wasn’t perfect, JDI made sure it was redone to perfection.

Professional & Organized

Professional & Organized - Good team who strives for daily check ins. Any delays were communicated well and other work would get done in its place. They had many projects going on at the same time and I never felt ignored or unimportant.

Schedule

Schedule - We made several changes during the process which extended the timeline. This was expected. JDI works fast and with high quality that we were happy with our timeline.

Recognized Excellence - Art, Alex, and Violet all made sure we were happy with the work. Alex made sure to keep us up to date on everything. Art was fantastic to work with and a great partner with very good recommendations. His relationships with the city smoothed permit approvals.

Additional Comments - I had a tough time trusting contractors. Art and JDI gave me confidence from the beginning and never let me done. Well done!

They are by far the easiest and most professional contractor we've ever dealt with.

Clean - They ensured our home was clean to the best of their ability during our remodel.

Communication - We knew schedule and everything that was going on in our home. No details were left out through out our remodel. JDI excels at communicating.

Schedule - They were able to move around the schedule based on our needs and moved thigns ahead to ensure we finished ahead of the original anticipated schedule

Value - At first I thought that their bid was a little high. But after making the decision of moving forward with the project we quickly learned that JDI was worth every penny. You cannot put a price on quality workmanship and great customer service. Their bid was thorough and accurately captured the project. Any change orders that we faced we're from our decision and changes; not the contractor.

Recognized Excellence - Eric was a pleasure to work with! He made sure that Madeline and I were in the loop on everything that was going on. He managed his team well and did a wonderful job throughout the whole process of our remodel. He made it painless. Most of the time remodels can bring up frustrations and worries but dealing with Eric there was none of those feelings during our process. David and Pavel were also great to have in our home! They were very respectful and produced great work.
