It took too much time to finish my job due to poor workmanship by two employees. What should have been a one-day job took three days to complete.

It has been over a month since they started the repairs on my home from my dishwasher flooding, and it has been NOTHING but problems.
When the tore out my hardwoods they broke my door frame getting the machine in my home (they fixed this thankfully) , they broke my tile in my laundry room (STILL HASNT BEEN FIXED) they broke my granite back splash tearing out my counter tops (STILL HASNT BEEN FIXED), when they repaired the side of the kitchen island effected by the water damage they didn't cut the piece of cabinet big enough so they stuffed small pieces of wood in between the counter top and the new piece of cabinet to make it fit....not to mention the staining job they did on the wood they used....they didn't stain the piece before install so the inside isn't stained which looks tacky. Garbage.
They tore up my yard and my neighbors yard getting the storage unit in and out of my driveway and their idea of fixing this was to pour top soil in the ruts. MY NEIGHBOR IS UPSET which I completely understand, im sure my husband and i will have to fix this by hand. They marked up my walls which thankfully they fixed somewhat but missed quite a few spots, and won't come back to out fix them.
My family even left for vacation and hired a person to be at the house the entire week we were gone to make sure they had access for repairs, not one phone call and the house sitter said they only saw one old man come to repair the piping under the kitchen sink we had to stuff a nerf dart in to keep from leaking onto our new floors.
I have had to call countless people ALL THE TIME as they won't ever call us back. Tina who works here I have called 3 times and left messages, no return call. Spoke with Ed who is one of the owners and who basically told me he wasn't sure how he could help because he didn't know who we were. Brandon who is supposed to have some tie to our renovation/repair never returns a call. And he never picked up when my husband called, I finally called him from a new number and got him to answer...ironic. Communication with this company is horrible.
My insurance company paid them thousands of dollars for a shitty job that has taken them over a month and it's still not complete. Don't use them. And if you do prepare to have to hunt them down to finish the job.

update: 2 months in as of today. Still no end in sight for repairs.
Update: 5 months in. Still not complete. 6 months in 2 weeks.

Jacco did a excellent job on replacing my down stairs flooring. Everyone I worked with were very informative and friendly.

The workmanship was excellet. The contractors and employees were friendly as well as nice. They gave good customer service. When I did call them, all of them were responsive.

Overall the work performed was decent. I had water damage to my closet and floors. I really liked the initial consultation and description of the work and the timeline, however, there were long delays in getting started and the job took a few days longer to complete than what we were told (which was important because we were expecting a newborn and this was in our nursery). The workmanship was fine, but they spilled stain on the walls that wasn't cleaned, got paint on the door handle, and scratched up multiple surfaces. Additionally, they ripped a phone jack off the wall and it now can't be replaced.

They were good people to work with, and they cleaned up well.

The employees were great, I just wish they had used drop clothes down instead of leaving all of the debris and particles all over the floors and my furniture.

The workers were professional and courteous and arrived at the suggested time each day and completed the project as scheduled. I am pleased with the finished project.

Extremely pleased with the entire project from start to finish. No complaints whatsoever.

Very unprofessional and untimely in all aspects of the job. They never came to even look at the work once it was completed.

Things were not done in a timely fashion. The communication level was pretty low. I had to deal with my insurance company most of the time because they would not return phone calls.

Jacco Construction is a wonderful company to deal with. Their employees are courteous, professional, responsive, cooperative, and completes work on time. I was very pleased with Jacco's work.

I found all of the people to be very professional and knowledgeable. Fast and great job! My wife felt comfortable around them too. That's always a plus.

Horrible experience. I only used them because they were a vendor my insurance company uses. Their employees actually damaged a lot of my furniture when they were cleaning it. Then, when I called them about it, the account manager was so ugly about it. They need to learn people skills as well as how to treat other people. I mean, it's bad enough to have lost my home due to a fire, but then I had to deal with Jacco and their unprofessional behavior.
