I work nights. I was given a specific date for the project to start. The projected start date was on a day I work. I took the night off from work so that I wouldn't have to try sleeping through the day and through a loud roofing project. I stayed at home in anticipation of the start date, but waited over two hours without anyone showing up. I called in and found out that there was an equipment malfunction. I was told that they called me, but I did not receive any call. Communication is everything. Overall, they made a new start date for the next week. Although the materials were dropped off in the morning, the crew was late to start that day as well. But, I did receive good communication from Bailey after the original equipment malfunction. I wasn't angry or upset. I know things happen. But, I was inconvenienced and had to burn a vacation day that ultimately did not have to be taken. Communication on the front end of that would have allowed me to go to work and keep 10 hours of vacation time.

The job started and finished on time. The crew was outstanding.

There was some damage to the interior wall due to a saw cutting all the way through from the outside. There were also a few issues with the crew leaving food garbage in the yard and leaving gates open which created safety issues for our dogs. Communication about this was great, though, and Ironhead made sure the damage was promptly repaired.

Sean was great to work with, answered all my questions and concerns. I’ve hired Ironhead twice now and would again.

Ironhead roofing was responsive and easy to communicate with prior to installing the roof. Since installation, it has been difficult to get responses from them. We had a small strip of plastic hanging off the edge of the roof and it took 2 months to get someone to come take it off for us. There are nails sticking through the eaves of the roof that are visible and split the paint. I have asked for someone from the company to come take a look at it for me and no one has responded. The visible nails look terrible and caused damage and I’m concerned about someone getting hurt when we repaint our house. We had to pick up small pieces of roofing and strips of nails that were left in our yard after installation. 2 months later and I am still cleaning up pieces of old roofing.

He was prepared with samples of materials beyond the roofing and was obviously very knowledgeable about general construction and roofing in particular. Then Bailey was an angel, walking through the process with me. She was so helpful and understanding.

Very detail, clean and top notch communication.

Ironhead Roofing's materials and work quality was as good (actually better) than other roofing companies from whom I solicited bids, but at a substantially lower cost. I would definitely choose them again for my roofing needs.
