Hard to get through to anyone on the phone. I was at the DMV and called twice and was on hold for 15+ minutes then the line dropped. The third time I called I was able to speak with a representative who was able to help; however, this was a most frustrating experience.

Y'all took 6 weeks to respond to an email as to why my annual premium increased.

Our local office closed. The phone number on my billing rolls to a number out of state. My so called agent is not responsive. I have to call multiple times to get anything accomplished. I feel like a number and that no one cares as long as I pay my invoices.

The verbal quotes didnât match the actual prices, I was left without insurance as Rob messed up the dates of my transition, Iâve asked to move to Progressive multiple times and canât get an answer. I would gladly take another rep. Rob has been the worst.
At first the communication between us and Insurance South was good; three years later I would rate it as very poor. Made at least 6 phone calls and sent, then re-sent EM with no resolution. Finally reached out to our real estate agent who had management contact us. At that point (1.5 months later), we had our request resolved.
Questions are not answered unless I email more than once, the customer care team is lacking in customer service my actual agent is great but anytime he defers me to his care team itâs a hassle.
Cancelled my policy for specious reasoning without giving me a chance to respond.
I was ultimately able to get my auto, home and umbrella policies updated, but it took over a week for anyone to respond to my initial request for service.

I have attempted to add vehicles to my policy 2 times int the last 2 months. On both occasions it took me multiple attempts and days to contact an agent. I left several messages and did not get any return calls.
My agent resigned and I needed help with getting the lien holder on my policy. I finally had to call Safeco directly myself. I will probably look for another agent and company.

I purchased three policies - homeowner, umbrella and auto (Safeco). Only the homeowner and umbrella policies are shown when I log into my Safeco account. I have sent three emails to Insurance South customer service asking if they could help figure out why the auto policy is not visible online and I never received a response. I may ultimately need to contact Safeco to solve the problem but the fact that I never heard back from Insurance South is very frustrating. I was getting timely communication up until the point I paid the premiums and now I get nothing. This makes we wonder what type of service I will receive if I ever have to file a claim. Started off great but pretty poor right now.

Some level of 24hour availability. Since plans are brokered no changes can be made directly with the carrier so I am restricted to doing business 9-5, M-F which means I must do business while I and also at work which can be very inconvenient. But I have to access all my other data from the carrier on that webite. Makes for dealing with multiple people across multiple platforms when there is a policy issue. Can be very troublesome.
