New customer. I had to contact the main office with some questions. Did not have to wait on hold for a representative which was wonderful. She was able to answer my questions quickly and clearly. What a refreshing experience considering some other customer service situations I've had to deal with lately.

I was working with Bill Nelson on my new insurance policy, which I paid for weeks ago, but he stopped responding to me. I reached out again and received a response from Greg Bowyer stating, "Bill is no longer with us." Regardless of who helps me, I urgently need someone to add the real estate agency managing my rental as an additional insuredâsomething Bill failed to do after I initially requested it. Please assign someone to assist me with this as soon as possible. Let me know who will be handling my request moving forward. Looking forward to your prompt response.
Funds were take out 7 days before closing (closing was tentatively Feb 7). Funds were taken ou Feb 3. The agent said that he would correct the date. The house sale did NOT finalize. Now I have to hunt you down for my money back.

Our rate increases have been astronomical over the several years we have had your insurance. We have had no claims and very little communication between us, yet the increases exceed even the very high inflation rates in our country! Agent provided discounts I was not entitled to nor provided feedback that I was entitled to. Insurance provider inquired about these (home owner discount) to which I provided feedback that I do not own the home I live in. I then had the discounts removed. I will be looking for a new coverage provider starting the new year based on this experience.

We never hear from you. We have no connection to your company except when our money is deducted from our bank account. The entire process is so impersonal that if we had an actual claim, I would not know who to contact or how to contact them. It is laughable that we would be asked how we have been disappointed and I have to look several times to be sure this is the company that we have insurance through! If you want to have a working relationship with customers, you have to build that relationship - an email does not a relationship make!

We got a good rate, but there was a lot of unnecessary mistakes made in this transaction. Weâve had brokers over the years and even done it ourselves. In a home purchasing process it is stressful and we shouldnât have had to continually watch over our insurance broker.

Communication was quite lacking and it did not go without issues when I switched.
I requested several times to have my auto insurance address updated - at least 4 times in 2023. This update continuously was not made and cost me over $300 in excess premiums. HomeServices told me they contacted Safeco to get a refund for those backdated premiums. I contacted Safeco myself they had no such request from your team. There was no refund processed and they worked with me to make the necessary address corrections, but could only go back a few months - they were not willing or able to refund me the full $300-400 I had overpaid. I understand mistakes do happen - but when your team makes a mistake they should take ownership of correcting the issue. That ownership did not happen here despite several requests on my end and it ended up costing me time and money. I used to refer all of my clients buying real estate to HomeServices - but have decided to take my business referrals elsewhere based on the experience I had the past 12 months.
