I've never dealt with an insurance company that has been so difficult to get a hold of and has made so many errors. From the beginning until now there have been countless issues with getting a hold of someone to talk to. They would promise to call me back and never did. I tried recently to get a quote on a new car I was getting and it took weeks to get a quote while other companies gave me a quote within the day. When doing home insurance there were so many times our information was incorrect and had to get changed but the new documents wouldn't be updated delaying the process multiple times.

I work for Berkshire Hathaway in Omaha, Nebraska. I had an agent, she quit and did not get any notice from anyone. Trying to renew my insurance from out of town and ended up getting an upper level person and when I called back was informed they were not my agent and passed me on to someone else. Quite disappointed with the whole situation. It would be nice is when the insurance is issued, an email goes out to me telling me who to call or email or text. Too much automation and not enough real good information. My other complaint is that I have an electric car and (actually I have 2) and your cost of car insurance for these cars are ridiculous! These cars are smarter than their drivers and are very safe. I know we are in the beginning of the electric car phase however it is a coverage that you are going to have to work on as other companies are cheaper on Electric cars.

I feel like it was all about the sale and after that the agent could care less. The entire years premium was taken from my account, I had to do a stop payment as it made my account overdrawn. I wanted to do monthly payments, I never said I’d pay the entire year. I was charged $20 from my bank for the stop payment. I should have stuck with my small town agent for this policy.
