Was very impressed from the salesman to the last helper left. The cleanup was efficiently done.

Detailed inspection, thorough presentation, and speedy set up for both financing and install. We had our consult on a Tuesday and an existing roof removed/brand new roof installed on Friday. Salesmen and project managers were well informed and answered questions thoroughly. We are happy with the amount we paid for the quality materials and workmanship!

This company lacks professionalism. I spent close to $40k on a roof and siding project in June 2025, had minor issues with installation, that should have been able to easily be addressed, however, the lack of communication and care after I paid it full showed me they are only about income and not customer care. My contract was written up to where the cost breakdown was incorrect - I let it slide, my deposit was applied incorrectly and not evenly amongst the two projects as explained - I let it slide, the work looked well and I was pleased, until we had some heavy rain for a few days which resulted in siding coming loose and blowing the hundreds of nails left behind on the roof to spread to the yard and presented a safety issue. I called the project manager and customer service to out in warranty claims as there is a lifetime warranty on the work, where it was explained to me, they were busy with other jobs and would get to me when they could. Totally unacceptable! When they took the old siding off my home, they threw away my ring doorbell and wrapped the wiring so that I could not be put back. When asked why, I was told I would have had to request it be put back. How logical is that? After about a month of calling consistently they finally replaced my ring camera, but instead of hard wire, it’s battery operated - which is fine. During installation, they damaged the internet service box/and wiring causing an outage for a week and the equipment was not on a part of the home that needed them to remove it in any way. They left the wiring from the telephone pole just hanging on the fence and I had to call them back and request they hang it like it was prior to the renovation. There were also moments during the project where they just wrapped what appeared to be rotting wood, and I had to make them unwrap it and replace it. They sited just because it looked bad, did not mean it was bad and some items didn’t need to be replaced, but it did. The wood pieces they attempted to wrap and move on from looked horrible and soft. This company is terrible and I’ve had to threaten to call the BBB just to get a call or email back to rectify minor issues. The staff is super friendly, but the quality of care overall, is HORRIBLE. I would never use them for another home project and only plan on calling them for warranty issues, which I would have to pray get resolved. I’m actually still waiting on them to pick up material left behind on June 19th and the siding issue previously mentioned. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Highly displeased and disappointed and have no clue how they have a 4.8 star rating with how my experience went.

Overall, they did a very good job. I had a few miscommunication issues with the salesperson, but then the sales manager got it taken care of.

Did not execute valley installations properly

I have been extremely upset with the professionalism of HGE. At multiple points through the process, we have had to contact the company repeatedly to get problems addressed. Multiple employees have stopped responding to my messages. We have a leak in our 3-week old roof. The project manager sent a crew to our home without notifying us in advance. He pressured us to sign that the work was completed and pay before the job was done. The crew damaged my flower beds, which the project manager noted, but no one has contacted me to resolve the issue or reimburse me for the dead plants.
The salesman promised repeatedly that the project manager would be on site throughout the project. He was not.

They provide great communication and excellent quality.

They professionally and expertly installed the roofing system! And when the weather interrupted the project, they ensured my house was protected from the rain!!

I was happy that they were efficient and they did the work in a timely manner.

Home Genius Exteriors has great service and timely responses. My one complaint: I felt pressured to take the deal—take it or leave it—but the deal was good and I don't regret it.

The crew did an amazing job. They did my roof and siding in a decent amount of time. They communicated and fixed any issues that came up during the project.

It was kind of a mixed experience with Home Genius Exteriors. The beginning of the project was a nightmare. When we were reassigned to someone else, it was done well. We ended up with a good result, but we went through **** to get there. With the project coordination forgetting supplies, it was a nightmare in general.

The new roof looks great and went up fast. We had a leak damaging a ceiling so I was looking for someone to replace the very old roof. I called for an appointment on Monday. They came out on Tuesday to do a thorough inspection and give us a quote on Tuesday. The work was completed on Thursday and Friday of that same week and all the paperwork was completed on Saturday along with a final inspection. These guys did a great job.

From start to finish this company goes OUT of the way to make the experience horrible. Be prepared for HOURS longer than expected pushy sales people, inconsistent and unreliable project managers, and a complete communication failure at every turn.

They showed up on time. Professional and friendly. Completely cleaned up when they were done .

The work was definitely jaw dropping!
