I had not previously had such a great experience with any contractors prior to GVD. The onsite crew were very experienced craftsmen, who diligently executed the work with great attention to detail. They worked efficiently, cleaned the work site daily and answered all my questions professionally.

They were respectful, asked questions if unsure of what I was asking for, work area was clean as possible and the work that was scheduled for that day was completed even working late.

The team was amazing and the siding exterior looks great. I would hesitate to recommend due to the last minute clean up. We have a number of spots on the interior of the house where nails created external bumps, and several came through the wall. The patch and repair was average at best. Also, we realized another screen was slightly damaged but we repaired it.

Andy the sales guy was great! Unfortunately, everything after that wasn’t. We received several Milgard Tuscany windows that weren’t the right size, this was after waiting months for Anlin Del Mar windows. come to find out they were never ordered, so we switched to Milgard because they would arrive sooner. Failed inspection on the James Hardie siding as it wasn’t installed to manufacturer specifications. The installation crew drove 3 hrs to get to my house every day so you could tell they were burnt out and didn’t do the greatest job ( they were very nice guys though). I’m still finding nails around the house months later. When they painted the soffit they covered my neighbors suv with overspray ( they did pay to have it removed). Overall not the greatest experience, wouldn’t recommend this company. We are happy with the quality of the Milgard windows and James hardie siding.

Our house got a major makeover thanks to GVD Renovations. They replaced our old siding with new Hardie lap siding in Monterey Taupe and upgraded our windows with new Anlin windows. The result was stunning, as you can see from the attached photos. The workers were skilled and dedicated, working through the heat wave and finishing the project in just over two weeks.

GVD Renovations was very responsive and helpful, addressing any communication issues quickly and effectively. They were very organized and made the process simple for us. We are very satisfied with their work, and we highly recommend them to anyone needing new siding and windows.

I would absolutely recommend GVD Renovations to a friend. From start to finish, I had an outstanding experience working with them. The company is very trustworthy, highly reliable and their workmanshhip is excellent.

Excellent workmanship, communication, attention to detail

Non-existent project management, poor communication, uncommunicated cost overruns. Overall work quality was mostly fine with some exceptions.

Just, wow. Absolutely so happy.

We didn't want to take on such a large project at this time but we needed to. It was intimidating. Siding, sheathing, insulation, sealing and painting is a big project.
We took a dozen bids, and each interaction was wildly different.

Patrick sealed the deal during our initial meeting. "This is what we will do, this is why we do what we do and this is how we will do it." It was refreshing and reassuring. This interaction made us feel this was the right choice, even though the cost was more than some bids.

Nick, the project manager communicated instantaneously when required. He didn't try to make us feel like we were a problem. You had this feeling he wanted to make sure they were going to be successful, please the customer, and adhere to their contract and initial estimate.

They stayed under their project duration by days, the workers (the real pros here) were courteous, quick and clean. Those folks were undersold to say the least. (Patrick had told us they were something else.) I have watched similar projects take place at a very slow pace. That was not the case with GVD's choice of workers. It was quite impressive to watch the project unfold and be sealed back up so quickly.

We almost went with a contractor that offered a lower bid, which, in the end, cost us more money due to an "if you complete a + b on your own, we won't charge you x"
We tried that and had to back out of that partnership and start from scratch. GVD came in and gave me the straight answers.
Had GVD been my first choice I would not have wasted my own manpower.

In summary, go with GVD. It was a great experience. It was worth it.
