The service was good. The technician arrived on time and did the job. The only thing he didn't complete was the bathroom exhaust fan, and I really wanted it fixed.

Graves Brothers helped me out with something that was absolutely impossible for me. I had two windows where the sills were rotted, and they opened them up and found out they were not as bad as I thought, which was a good thing. They responded quickly to that.

From the moment I called for service to the technician leaving my home, I was treated with friendly, courteous personnel. The diagnoses to the leak from my problem exhaust fan was thorough checking everything out in the attic space and the roof. In the absence of any moisture or sign of moisture in the past and examination of the roof and flashing, it was concluded that the culprit is the old exhaust fan. I'm having that replaced. I now have peace of mind!

The installation went very smoothly, and the crew was experienced and made the installation match the existing house well.

Well, the person who came out and gave the estimate, I was very pleased with that. I had several quotes, and the initial presentation is pretty much what sold me on it. When you know, look at some of the other contractors. However, I was disappointed at how things went after that. I was initially told the company doesn't subcontract. The presentation was told that they do not subcontract. I learned after the job was started that they were using subcontractors. I was not happy with that. When they started the job, I was trapped or blocked in my house because of the way all the debris was. They didn't leave a path initially to get out of the house. They were supposed to after the job. They were supposed to. I was not aware that things needed to be covered in my garage. A lot of stuff is damaged by the debris in the garage; I was told it is not covered by the company. Before signing the agreement and the approval for the job, I was told that at the end of the job, the subcontractors were supposed to come back and finish. They were supposed to clean up some of the debris in the garage. There was a motorcycle in there, so they were supposed to clean that off and some of the bigger pieces of debris. They were directed by the manager to pick that up when they came back for the job. I was out of town.  They knew I was going to be out of town. I did not need to be present for that. When I returned to town, I discovered that that part was not completed. Another thing I am dissatisfied with is that it appears that they must be working with other companies as far as windows and driveways because I got several calls. Somebody showed up around the same time as my inspection, trying to sell me on the windows. They were a little pushy. They had to be with Gary's brother or the subcontractors, whoever because they were trying to sell me on the windows. Then I got another call inquiring about my driveway. That was very dissatisfying.

They came quickly, took care of everything nicely, and weren't very expensive.

Very responsive to need. Scheduled for one week out but then became available to come in 1/2 week. Was expecting at 1 PM and arrived at 8:30 AM which we were not prepared for at first but we were able to work it on. Was able to identify the problem and to complete work immediately.

I was happy with the work done, but I was under the impression graves bros had employees vs contracting out work. the invoice and emails that I received came from different companies (not graves) so it seems like a crap shoot as to whether you will get a good contractor or not. I have not had good luck with contracted out work in the past so am hesitant to use this model in the future.

I would NEVER recommend Graves Bros to a friend! Their material and labor pricing was extremely inflated based on the work that was needed. The company representative who called regarding their billing was extremely manipulative, kept twisting my words. It felt like an abusive, gaslighting partner was talking to me. Strangest conversation I've ever had with another professional.

Once the workers came out, they did great work. It took many calls and follow ups to get them to the house
